Gibbston is a relatively mature tourist wine cellar, the size of the vineyard is large, and the wine production is also large.
If it's just wine tasting, it only costs 5 SGD. We want to enter the cellar restaurant, so we signed up for the 40-minute wine cave tour.
We and a few Europeans and Americans were brought to the vineyard by a staff member. They introduced New Zealand's soil, planted varieties, and grape characteristics, and then went into the mysterious cave wine cellar. This small cave contains a collection of wines produced in each vintage. The value of thousands of bottles cannot be measured. So also in the iron fence all year round, we can only look through the gap. In the deepest part of the cave, wine tasting begins. We tasted 3 white wines, 2 red wines and one ice wine. All are delicious. If you taste it, you can go out and buy it at the front desk. The business here is really big, and it can be mailed to various countries in the world, but the postage is self-paying.
In addition to the wine cellar, there are several other places to visit, vineyards, restaurants, food stores and souvenir shops.
Especially in the food store, you can buy a lot of local cheese, local honey. We bought 2 large bottles of honey.
