The Gilbert House, the main building of the University of Glasgow, is the second largest Gothic revival building after the British House. The central church is beautiful, this is a popular venue for weddings. There is such a legend that couples who are proposing marriage in the church will be able to say yes smoothly and have a happy life after marriage. If one of the newcomers is alumni/worker at Glasgow University (or the parents of the newcomer are alumni), they can hold a wedding at the church.
