People's Palace

Walk for about 30 minutes to a riverside park where the People's Palace is located. This is an open park with a large area. The large green lawn echoes the large floating clouds in the sky. We strolled in the park and watched many sculptures, among which the tall obelisk-like monuments are landmarks. The People's Palace in the park is a red sandstone Victorian-style building. The sculptures and carvings on the facade look even more ancient under the sunset light. This museum, built in the 16th century, is now a social history museum. A huge glass greenhouse is dragged behind it. We can only see the exterior because it is off work. The sculpture in front of the front entrance of the People's Palace is very tall and consists of many figures, including figures in Islamic and Indian costumes. I don't know what the meaning is. After turning a half circle in the park, I walked out of a triumphal arch directly opposite the monument. I don't know what this carved triumphal arch means. There are many sculptures in many cities in the UK. It seems normal not to know their origins. After all, there are too many sculptures to attract the attention of tourists.

Inside the People's Palace is an exhibition of people's life related to Glasgow. Unfortunately, I am not particularly interested in these topics. The second half of the People's Palace is a glass house like a conservatory garden, where you can drink coffee and take a break. It is a very good place.
