Do you know Kozwo? At least I was very new to this name before I came to the UK. Even when I was doing the strategy before the trip, I just felt that the publicity was more than actual, maybe it was just a few small villages. But when I was really in it, I realized that the British strategy is not in the slightest exaggeration. The beauty here is absolutely beyond your imagination. Cotswolds: An ancient and elegant English town, a quiet and cozy heart of England!
Cotswolds is an area in south-central England. It is known as the most beautiful country in the UK. The beautiful rural scenery and the characteristic small stone houses are very representative of the rural scene in England. There are many villages in this area, and each one is worth seeing. As a tourist, I can only watch the flowers. I really hope I have time to live here for a few days.
A typical British town is elegant and simple. On weekends, local residents all come out for family day activities. Walking the dog by the river, sunbathing and having a picnic. Very pleasant! The antique townhouses are so yearning! No wonder it is known as the concentration of the most beautiful villages in the world.
yThe natural landscape of the United Kingdom, I think three places are enough to summarize the most distinctive and shocking beauty of the United Kingdom-Highland, Cornwall, and Cotswolds in Scotland. Cotswolds is an area in south-central England. This area covers six British counties geographically, namely Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerest, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire, so it does not actually have the meaning of administrative division. Due to its geographical location and its representative English romantic rural scenery, it is dubbed the "Heart of England" and has been named the "Legal Special Natural Beauty Area" in the UK. Every year, no matter what season, there are many tourists from home and abroad, and many people choose to sketch or hold weddings here. Once I just picked a day and went to one of the popular small villages. As a result, I saw at least four bus tourists in one afternoon. This shows how popular the place is as a tourist attraction... But there is no need to worry about people mountain people sea. The problem! Because this area is basically composed of small villages and towns with their own characteristics, many tourists will not choose to stay in the same village for too long. However, based on personal play experience, it is recommended that you make a relatively ample time to live here for a few days, filter out the villages you want to go to, swing around slowly, and feel and appreciate its poetic and artistic beauty. Romantic and happy ~ Discover the little surprises hidden in every corner ~ External traffic: Cotswold belongs to the Oxford area, so I chose London as the starting point. Cotswold is connected by many small towns, among which the alternative arrival train stations are Moreton-in-marsh, Kingham, Hanborough, Cheltenham, Kemble and Oxford. This station is recommended to Moreton-in-marsh. Because it is relatively close to the interior of Cotswold, there is a comprehensive public transport system to facilitate access to various towns. There is a direct train from London to Moreton-in-marsh, which costs about 24 pounds for a round trip on the same day (a day-trip is more than enough to visit one or two small towns). Of course, if you want to be more economical, you can choose to change trains in Oxford. The round trip from Oxford to Moreton-in-marsh is only 8 pounds on the same day, and the train ticket from London to Oxford is only 4 pounds. If you are departing from Nottingham, you can also choose Oxford to transfer. Internal transportation: In Cotswold, you mainly rely on local buses. Compared with the crazy buses in the Lake District, the buses here are gentle. The one-way journey from Moreton-in-marsh to Bourton-on-the-water is only 1.5 pounds or relatively Cheap, but it is worth noting the bus schedule. There are relatively few buses here. If you miss it, you may have to wait 2 hours, so you must check these in advance. If you really miss it, you can choose to walk, and you can pass through some other towns in about 2 hours. It should be very interesting. For details, please refer to my travel notes: http://you.ctrip.com/travels/unitedkingdom20354/1916957.html
Beautiful villages, they represent the most classic impression of the English countryside, and are hailed as a hidden treasure by the British. I don’t like taking pictures of mountains, rivers and waters, I love to take pictures of architecture~ Compared with natural scenery, I love human scenery more
