Canton Tower Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
These camera positions captured a stunning joint photo with the Canton Tower
Happy weekend, sleep until you wake up naturally, then meet up with friends for a meal in Zhujiang New Town~~In order not to waste this blue sky and white clouds, I had a sudden idea: why not take a walk around the Canton Tower and check out the beautiful spots recommended by netizens?
❣️Route: Wuyangcun Metro Station Exit B → Guangzhou Bridge → Ersha Island Hongcheng Park → Haixinsha Park → Haixin Bridge → Canton Tower
PS: This route was just a casual stroll for me, very smooth all the way~ Walking and stopping to take photos, even on the weekend there weren't many people (except in Haixinsha) and it was just right to wander until dusk, then leave from the Canton Tower Station (off to eat).
📸P1-4: After coming out of Wuyangcun Metro Station, locate the 'Democratic Building', walk forward and you can see the side of Guangzhou Bridge, the camera position is right at the bridge entrance~
📸P5-6: After taking the first camera position, walk up the Guangzhou Bridge, cross the Pearl River and you will come to Ersha Island Sculpture Park~ You can take photos of the lawn + Canton Tower + tiny human figures
📸Inside the Sculpture Park is Ersha Island Hongcheng Park (the flowers are not very pretty recently, not suitable for photos); through Hongcheng Park is Haixinsha Park, where there are a lot of people on weekends, everyone is picnicking and flying kites, sitting and chatting is very comfortable, but you need to find the right angle for photos (because of the crowd)
✨During dusk, walking on Haixin Bridge is very romantic and beautiful~ Very suitable for dating haha💗💗
Teach you how to go to the Guangzhou Tower for 39
Must go to Guangzhou👇
✅Guangzhou Tower
With just one movie ticket, you can go up to the Guangzhou Tower, watch the sunset, night view, and watch a movie again🎬
Cinema: Jinyi Sky Cinema (21st floor)
The process is as follows👇
1️⃣Book a movie ticket online, the last time we went was around 5 o'clock, you can just take pictures of the daytime landscape under the Guangzhou Tower and see the night view after watching the movie, the scenery is yyds👍
2️⃣Take the subway to the "Guangzhou Tower" ab exit, then walk to the right of the Guangzhou Tower to see McDonald's, next to it is to exchange a movie ticket and a tower climbing certificate🎣
3️⃣Then go to the west tower entrance for security check and tower climbing (it's just a little bit next to the ticket collection place on the left)
4️⃣The security check will require an ID card, if you don't bring it, you can show them the electronic ID card or photos, and then the security check electronic cigarettes and lighters are not allowed🔥
5️⃣After entering, there will be staff to guide you to line up to take the elevator up (the key point is here, you must arrive one hour in advance, because there are generally many tourists queuing up, you have to wait) No matter which hall your movie is in, you have to go to the 21st floor first, you need to bring your own 3D👀, there are 10💰a pair of water snacks above, you can 📷📷at this time
6️⃣Finally, see which hall you are in and ask the staff to go to which floor to watch, and when you come out, it's just night and you can 📷📷again
🎈TiPs: Remember to go early👏👏👏
Guangzhou's iconic Canton Tower photo spot! I don't want to check out, I'm super satisfied with this homestay
This time the homestay in Guangzhou is too satisfying, no need to squeeze with people to find a photo spot..... The homestay is 800 meters straight from the Canton Tower, 180° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows for enough photos📷 The large lawn downstairs is also a good choice
Just arrived at 🏨Canton Tower at 23 o'clock has already turned off the lights😭 Didn't take the night view🌃 But the daytime is also a different feeling......
The room also has a bathtub🛁 It's really very happy to take a bath
Especially like the giant screen projector in the room, drinking a little wine and watching a movie after a daytime citywalk is also a kind of enjoyment......
And thoughtful service: the cafe provides breakfast🍳 and 🆓luggage storage🧳
And the location is superior, the transportation is convenient👍 This is the ceiling of the homestays I have stayed in Guangzhou!

If you want to eat more, you can also go to Central Exchange first
Central Exchange has more to eat, eat and then stroll around Lijun Pangdu
Then you can wash and sleep, ready for the next day's itinerary
Day2⃣️
8:30 Love Tree

🐋 WHAT AN AMAZING AQUARIUM 🌊
The place was just beyond my expectations. Amazing aquarium, really awesome. Insane roller-coaster and the lights and fireworks show at the end are great. The Ocean Aquarium is one of the largest in the world and I could have spent all day there just watching the majestic whale sharks. There is a cafe that has direct viewing windows into the aquarium, providing the most amazing photo opportunities having a coffee watching rays, sharks and fish. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has many attractions ranging from aquariums to performances to rollercoasters, which suit a wide variety of ages, making it an ideal destination for a family trip.

Worlds BIGGEST water/theme park!
Situated outside the Guangdong city of Zhuhai is Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and boy is this place awesome!
There is a whopping 8 areas to see within the park, all with a different theme. Loads of restaurants and chill out spots for the family and a MASSIVE aquarium area.
Don’t forget, at the end of the day there is a huge show put on including jet skis, water jet pack men, fireworks, drone displays - you name it, they’ve got it. However it is later on in the evening and the little kids may be struggling by this point after a long day of craziness.
Easiest way to travel to the park is shuttle bus from Zhuhai or take a taxi but traffic on the way back can be a little crazy leaving the park (talking from experience 😅) and obviously more expensive.
Have blast!

Shenzhen Window of the World
This afternoon me, my wife and a couple of friends spent a whole day in Window of the World. It's been 7 years since I live in Shenzhen and I've never been here before and to be honestly I should have came before.
The place Itself isn't that worth for the price. Some miniatures already are old and not well cared but some places to play are quite fun!
What I most liked was the the dancing main presentation that happened at 19:30. That one was amazing and made worth the 220rmb paid at the entrance.
My suggestion is go right after lunch, food there is a bit expensive and not that good, better eat outside and keep the day withsome snacks or fast food. Nearby Nicaragua's waterfall has some hamburger that can help to keep full until leave the park for dinner.
The Window of the World, Shenzhen
#shenzhentrip
The Window of the World in Shenzhen is like a global adventure in miniature. It's a fascinating theme park where you can see scaled-down replicas of famous landmarks from all over the world in one place, from the Statue of Liberty to the Pyramids of Egypt.
The park is particularly enchanting at night when these miniature landmarks are beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. It's a great spot for evening strolls and taking memorable photos. If you're looking for a unique and visually captivating attraction in Shenzhen, the Window of the World is a must-visit.

My friends thought I had gone abroad, but I am in Guangzhou
Guangzhou, Shamian Island.
It is a sandbar formed by the Pearl River, hence the name Shamian. In the early days, Shamian was an important port in Guangzhou. After a hundred years, more than a dozen countries have set up consulates on Shamian, nine foreign banks, more than forty foreign companies operated on Shamian, and the Guangdong Customs Club, Guangzhou Club and others were established on Shamian. With the changes in modern history, Shamian has become a microcosm of China's modern history and the history of concessions. The European-style buildings on Shamian Island have formed a unique open-air architectural 'museum'.
Surrounded by ancient trees, shaded by green trees, and fragrant with flowers🌸The sun jumps between the leaves, and from time to time you can hear the birds singing🕊Wandering among these colorful ancient buildings🏰Everywhere is beautiful scenery, free and comfortable, lazy and casual.
Every day there are many photography enthusiasts to check in📸Literary and artistic small shops, coffee shops☕️, French restaurants🍽Guangzhou is in a hurry, Shamian is leisurely. Feel the unique Cantonese romance!💕
A historical European oasis in Guangzhou
Shamian Island is my favourite place in Guangzhou and it was my safe haven during my 6 months living there, it was an oasis of calm in such a chaotic city. The Island was divided into concessions given to France and the UK in the 19th century and foreigners lived and worked on the island to help support the export of Chinese products. The island is separated from the mainland by a small river and this created a self contained zone that allowed western nations to establish trade missions without ‘being present’ on the mainland. Ultimately America, France, Holland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, japan and the UK had a presence on the island in big stone mansions along the water.
The buildings now house cafes, restaurants and shops and has become a surreal tourist destination, the buildings lining the street were built in the style of their respective western powers so it feels like you could be in Paris, London or Amsterdam. The buildings are grand and imposing as each nation tried to outdo the other with their architectural styles, leaving tree lined boulevards lined with buildings that stand out against the Chinese city that has developed around them.
You can reach the island via the Huangsha metro station and then walking over an overpass, also many bus routes have stops just outside the bridge that links the island to greater Guangzhou.
I’d really recommend this to anyone living in or visiting Guangzhou who is overwhelmed by the sheer scale and pace of the city, I used to love taking a book or my laptop to the Starbucks and just enjoying the peace.

Million Sunflower Garden Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
[Guangzhou Million Sunflower Garden] Staying at Huazhilian Castle Hotel is an unlimited number of entrances to the Million Sunflower Garden. Just at the service desk on the left side of the hotel lobby, the staff can put an invisible seal on the hand. It is invisible to you. The ticket inspectors in the park will check it out with the ultraviolet ratio. Every time you enter the park, you need to re-cap the stamp once, except that it is not checked at night.
The park has 3d light and shadow watching at 8:00 in the evening, telling the adventure process of the protagonist's sunflower cat. If there are families with children who can often watch the following, adults may be slightly naive, it doesn't matter, the hotel arranges at 9 o'clock. Two movies are available for guests to watch.
[Shooting Tips] The front of the castle hotel is the sunflower sea, with a 24-105 lens in the past, wide angle and close-up are very suitable, you can bring the castle hotel together when you take a wide-angle photo, but be careful not to Step on the plant. A close shot can shoot a single flower.
Behind the hotel is a large piece of reed sea, lavender depends on seasonality, there is a rose garden, feel the real flower sea world, the little friends who like flowers and plants will love it.
In addition to flowers and plants, there is also a squirrel paradise, which is indoors. The squirrels inside are very afraid of people. They want to have a close contact with the squirrels, that is, they must follow the breeders back, and the breeders should send the squirrels to the squirrels. Snacks will shake the hands of the snacks to create a sound that attracts the attention of the little squirrels. This is the best time to shoot them. There are many parrots in the squirrel paradise. Compared to the little squirrels, the parrots see more tourists.
In Guangzhou’s Sunflower Garden, over 30 types of tulips have been brought in. Hundreds of thousands of tulips have been created into some 30 different scenes and sites by florists, it’s really very fun.
Even Ms. Marilyn Monroe showed up on site. From a sea of flowers, her dress billows away in the wind. Even though tulips are the main theme here, don’t forget to look up above. To show various styles of the flowers, the Fair has had many flowers from all over the world suspended from the ceiling for viewers to admire. For example, Cape Leadwort from South Africa, Winged Begonia from Brazil are all beautiful flowers which are not to be missed.
Sunflower Ocean~ Million Sunflower Garden
A decade ago, it was a very popular scenic spot with flowers as the theme.
At that time, transportation was very inconvenient.
Now it's convenient to go to Nansha.
But this scenic spot has declined.
However, when a sea of flowers appears in front of you.
It's still so beautiful.
The Autumn Cherry Blossom Festival at the Million Sunflower Garden
Because of the Autumn Cherry Blossom Festival at the Million Sunflower Garden, I snapped up two discounted tickets (19.9), took a two and a half hour subway and bus ride, and strolled around inside for over two hours. The autumn cherry blossoms in the garden are indeed beautiful, especially the largest one. Apart from the autumn cherry blossoms, the only thing worth seeing is the sunflowers. Although there are other flowers, not many are attractive. In addition to viewing flowers, the garden has more amusement facilities suitable for children, but some facilities may be out of repair and are no longer open. Even though it was Sunday, there were not many visitors.
Transportation: Take subway line 18 to Wanqingsha Station, and take the bus to Million Sunflower Garden Station (about 40 minutes) after exiting from exit D.
