Gyeongju Hyanggyo is a rural school located in Gangdong-myeon, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of Korea. The founding date of the township school is unknown, but there is a tablet dedicated to a wise Confucian scholar in memory of him providing secondary education to the place during the Goryeo Dynasty. The site was originally a national school. Sinology was founded in 682, the second year after King Shenwen ascended the throne. It is one of the tangible cultural properties. Gyochon now looks like a large classical courtyard, while Gyeongju Hyanggyo used to be a place to enshrine ancestor tablets.
