On the right side of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, is the Yaowang Mountain, the Tibetan medicine temple. Behind it is Lhasa's famous Wanfo wall, near the many carved Mani stone houses. There is a strangely shaped grotto temple called Zalahup on the east side of the Yaowang Mountain. The cliff above it is the place where Princess Wencheng misses her hometown and worships the East. The cave was cut in the time of Songzanganbu and remained intact after thousands of years.
