What people are saying:

The Israel Ancient Ship Museum is really hard to find. The map and Google navigation are weak at the moment. A kind uncle watched me looking around in the car, so I stopped my bicycle and asked me if I was lost. I was so lucky that the navigation instructions were unable to reach the Ancient Ship Museum. According to his instructions, we returned to Highway 90, turned in at a plum gas station and passed by a hotel before finding the entrance. It’s really luck to go out. Ancient ships feel like fossils, but two thousand years ago, human beings were so wise to tap their wealth and the development potential of modern civilization is huge.

    Definitely not a Sea Ray

We visited the museum first thing on a Friday morning as part of a 3 bus tour group from the U.S. The focal point, of course, is the fishing boat from Jesus’ era. An amazing find, an amazing recover...

    Great story, delightful people

Having the privilege to meet Yuvi in person is probably what made this whole experience for me. A more delightful man you'd be hard-pressed to find. His celebrity associated with finding the boat, tog...

The boat is very interesting - actually an amazing story. The rest of the museum is also interesting if youare interested in Israeli history up until Alon's death in the late 1960's or early 70's. T...
