Hakone Sculpture Museum Half-Day Tour
We set off from Tokyo early in the morning with friends and drove to Hakone. The first stop was the Sculpture Museum. The tickets were booked online, and it was very convenient to enter the museum.
The winter sun was shining brightly, there were not many tourists, and it was very suitable for a slow stroll.
1. There is a Picasso exhibition in the park. There are many sculptures, but I prefer his sketch manuscripts. The line drawing skills are really strong. Unfortunately, no photos are allowed in the exhibition area.
2. There is a small shop in the museum, and there is a foot bath next to it. Because the next stop is the Hakone Hot Spring Hotel, I didn't go for a foot bath, but it must be very comfortable. I bought ice cream in the shop, and the matcha flavor was delicious.
If you are not driving by yourself, there is a shuttle bus to get there, but the museum is in the mountains, and I always feel that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. The parking fee is 500 yen each time.
The local art museum is most famous for a glass church ⛪️, but it was repaired at the time, so it was a pity that I went to the photo. The Japanese art museum is worth going in to scare, and I have to play 😍
Hakone is a well-known hot spring township on the outskirts of Tokyo, and it is also the concentration of art museums, but the art museums here are not all that art will make you understand, and they are quite thematic. The sculptures of the Sculpture of the Mori Art Museum are very large and heavy. Naturally, the vast park needs to put works. It is very refreshing to walk and see works here. There is a large Picasso Museum in the park, and everyone said that they could not understand Picasso's paintings.
The Sculpture Forest Museum in Hakone, a fierce battlefield of the museum. Unique works are mainly displayed outdoors, and it's a fun place just to look at them! It is a museum where you can enjoy dating and with children
Outdoor sculpture garden set against the backdrop of beautiful natural landscapes. Very nice recommend you for sharing it with us enjoyed the entire tour
Hakone's trip caught up with a heavy rain. In the rain, we came to the Carving Forest Art Museum. First of all, we entered the exhibition hall of our museum and saw that there were photographic exhibitions. It was found that all the exhibitions were sculptures taken by photographers in the courtyard. And most of the photos are sculptures in the rain. Taking advantage of the slight rain, I also came to the courtyard and began shooting the sculpture after the rain. The raindrops on the sculptures vividly show another beauty of the works. What's more, there is a Picasso Museum opened in 1984 in this gallery. The paintings, sketches, prints, sculptures, ceramics, golden statues, silver works, glass works of art, brocade blankets and other colorful works displayed here, as well as photographs of the studio, introduce Picasso's endless imagination and life aspects, not only his own works, but also the re-interpretation of his works by others. Unfortunately, photographs are not allowed in the museum. Many works are really worth remembering. Later, it was found that postcards with related works can be purchased in the Commodity Department. I can't help but sigh in my heart that the Japanese are really good at doing business. Those beautiful works that are eager to collect can't take photos by themselves, so buy postcards. The Carving Forest Art Museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00 every day throughout the year. Adult fares are 1600 yen.
