Harbin is a scenic city that has gradually reached perfection over the years. In few other cities do people get as obsessed with being in a world of ice and snow. Every winter Harbin Ice and Snow World on the frozen Songhua River is full of happy banter. Here, it is as if people can forget the cold while still enjoying the frozen landscape. Here there are lively ice lantern shows and vivid and lifelike ice sculptures, as well as also mountain skiing and glacier skating that spread excitement all around. As soon as the sun goes down, walk down the central avenue surging with crowds and admire the elegant European architecture adorned with lamps and the magnificent Orthodox Church or try a Martell Popsicle to enjoy the enchanting cultural mix of East and West.
_We***08Went on 31 December 2020. Absolutely amazing. It's breathtakingly beautiful. Reviews can't capture how stunning it is, so go see for yourself. Some tips for first timers:- Make sure to go before sunset so see everything in daylight and all lit up. It truly is worth it seeing it in daylight too. It was dark out at around 4.30pm. - Getting there early might save you from standing for a 2hour wait in a queue for one of the big slides. - It's cold. Exposed hair froze, eyelashes froze, nostril hair froze. If you dress properly, and prepare for it, the cold isn't too bad. Take heating patches with and stick 'em in your pockets. Your hands will frikken BURN from cold if you keep taking gloves off to handle your phone. These things saved us! They also help keep your phone from dying in your pocket. - Didi doesn't come through to the entrance for pick ups. It's about a 30min queue outside for a taxi at night. Be prepared with a drop off location for the the driver if you can't speak Mandarin because...- It's colder outside the park than in it (wind). If your phones battery hasn't failed you by this point, this is where it will just drop. Mine went from 39℅ to dead in like 4 min trying to get the hotels address.
arshyb1I was a little hesitant at first to visit this place, but I’m really happy that I did! it was really nice. the tigers are beautiful. they come up to the van and you can feed them, but the meat to feed them is an extra ¥120 or so. I didn’t experience that part. it was well worth the visit!
vicclouu80rmb return, 50rmb one way, I just took it back into the city, fairly convenient, too polluted to see anything spectacular on the day I went. The river was frozen over, you can take a walk on it
善了哉的Skiing is a unique sport in the north, and has become a popular sport in recent years. Harbin Snow World, formerly Wanda Ice Park, was once Asia's largest indoor skiing resort. The transportation to the Snow World is very convenient, well equipped, the big turn down the middle and advanced snow lanes is a challenge for skiers, due to the winter Olympics, there are many professional athletes training here now, due to their too large movements, Snow trails make it more difficult for amateurs. For skiers, it is still a good choice, carefully calculated, the price/performance ratio is not inferior to the outdoor ski resort, it is recommended to experience!
Honeyit was a great experience to spend some quality time with friends in such a nice place everything was awsome we enjoyed alot i suggest people to must visit yabuli ski resort
Deetreethis was worth the trip. the saddest part though is the wolves sanctuary. the parents were separated from their babies by glass 😞😞. and the polar bear was lonely 😔. the shows gave me mixed emotions. the animals were great though.
#wintergetaway #merryxmas #holidayvacation Highlights at Volga Manor: Saint Nicholas Church - It is a beautiful wooden structure that sits on the other end of the happiness bridge. This orthodox cathedral was built in 1896 for Russian expatriates in Harbin. In 1966 the church was torn down, due to China and the Soviet Union not agreeing with each other. It was finally reconstructed in 1997.

Volga Manor - It’s a Chinese “park” with a Russian influence that covers an area of 600,000 square meters. The Volga River, which is a well known river in Russia, runs through the park... hence the name. It was built in 1899 and now has a hotel along with many attractions

Traveling to Harbin was one of the serious decisions I made. As a guy from southern part of India winter has never crossed 18 degrees for us and so, I was super prepared to deal with the cold which is exactly opposite of less than -18 degrees. But it was also a best decision, that led me to experience the best snow I have seen ever !! #harbin #russianarchitecture #traveltheworld

Harbin is the perfect place for a winter getaway! Though it’s very cold there, but the atmosphere of going skiing is really nice and also the mountain was beautiful. There were many people but the skiing place itself is quite big so you cam enjoy it. You can rent the skiing equipment and the costume as well, so just bring yourself there! #wintergetaway
