Beidahuang Museum

Beidahuang Museum is located at No. 175 Hongqi Street, Xiangfang District, Harbin City. It was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Provincial Department of Culture in 2005 and was built by the Heilongjiang General Administration of Agriculture and Reclamation to showcase the history of Heilongjiang Reclamation Area for more than half a century.

The Peking University Wilderness Museum is a state-owned comprehensive museum that has been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Provincial Department of Culture and built by the General Administration of Agriculture and Reclamation of Heilongjiang Province, displaying, collecting, researching and disseminating the history and environmental physical evidence of the development and construction of the Heilongjiang Reclamation Area. The museum officially opened in September 2005, with a total construction area of 3772 square meters, and there are six basic displays in the museum, namely the history of pre-reclamation, the development and construction process, the heroic group of the Peking Wilderness, cultural undertakings and literature and art, modern agriculture, social undertakings and leading enterprises. The exhibition uses nearly 400 meters of exhibition lines, 200 exhibition boards, 680 pictures and more than 50 archival documents, 16 charts, 159 artworks, 10 landscapes, etc. to tell the world about the arduous process of the development and construction of the Peking Wilderness. It presents the majestic momentum of the Peking Great Wilderness as the Grand Grain Band of the Republic in the great journey of "leading the modernization of agriculture", and witness the arduous journey of the former wasteland becoming an important commodity grain production base, strategic reserve base for food security and green food export base. It highlights the heroic feats of the Peking Wilderpeople in the history of reclamation in the Republic.

Beidahuang Museum, which was built in May 2002 by Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation Bureau, was completed and opened to the outside world in September 2005, demonstrating the historical struggle of Heilongjiang Reclamation Area for more than half a century. Now it has become an important learning and education base to understand the history of the development and construction of the Northern Wilderness. The Beidahuang Museum is a historical scroll that fully reflects the arduous undertaking of the three generations of Beidahuang people. It is a summary of the development and construction experience of Beidahuang, a miracle in the history of reclamation in China and even in the world. The Beidahuang Museum solidifies the history created by generations of Beidahuang people with sweat, tears and blood, and the fruitful achievements of material and spiritual civilization achieved in more than 50 years. It inherits the precious spiritual and cultural heritage of Beidahuang, in order to inspire and inspire the present people and those who come. Every cultural relic here reflects the passion and blood of that fiery era, especially the wall of the deceased in Beidahuang. It engraves the names of the officers and soldiers, local cadres, educated youth, border youth and graduates of secondary and technical schools who have returned to Beidahuang in the past. They dedicate their most precious youth and life to this black land. The Great Northern Wilderness will never be forgotten.
