Shushan Forest Park takes Dashu Mountain as the main body and is about 10 kilometers away from the urban area of Hefei. Dashu Mountain is 284 meters above sea level. It is a rare mountain in the suburbs of Hefei. The mountain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. It is oval in shape and formed by volcanic eruptions. The volcanic remains of ancient volcanoes, such as volcanic cones, volcanic waterfalls, volcanic rocks and volcanic necks, are well preserved. Because Dashu Mountain has no joint affiliation with Gangfu, it is just a lonely mountain, so it is called Shu Mountain. There are old sites such as Kaifu Temple, Longzi Tomb, Yuanji Dragon Temple, and Wells. With the changes of the times, these palaces and temples have long since disappeared, but the quiet scenery of Shushan is still a symbol of Luzhou. There is a TV transmitting station on the top of the mountain, which is a higher landmark in Hefei. Around Dashu Mountain, there are scenic spots such as "Xueji Villa", "Magnolia Avenue", "Shushan Gallery", "Hefei Wildlife Park" and "Anhui Celebrity Garden". A magnificent martyr's cemetery was built at the southern foot of the mountain. A cherry blossom forest has been built at the east foot of the mountain, and about 3,500 cherry blossoms of 7 varieties are planted, of which more than 300 are donated by Kurume City, Japan. These attractions are scattered and the scenery is pleasant. There are osmanthus trees in the westward expansion of Xiangyun Square, Huanshan West Road, and Dashu Mountain Shangshan Road. The autumn scenery here attracts countless tourists. In autumn, sweet-scented osmanthus blooms all over the mountains, and the nose is full of fragrance. At that time, when climbing the mountain, listening to the birds, watching the magnificent forest, and enjoying the rich autumn scenery. In the southeast of the park, there is a water entertainment park constructed in recent years, which consists of south and north magnolia lakes and a folk village. North Magnolia Lake has a cruise ship pier, a lotus gallery, etc., mainly for cruise fishing. South Magnolia Lake is a "water park" with two islands and a peninsula, dividing the water surface into four swimming pools for adults, teenagers, children and surfing. The "Folk Village" on the west bank of the lake has yurts, Dai bamboo buildings, etc., each with its own ethnic customs.
