About Hefeng: Hefeng County is located in southwest Hubei Province in the southeast of Enshi Prefecture. Here, the traditional culture of the Tujia people predominates, and you will be intrigued by their folk culture and customs including special funereal and baishou (“hand-waving”) dances, liuzi drama, four-stage tea ceremonies (si dao cha), and nuo opera. When you visit Hefeng County's Pingshan Gorge, you can cruise the river on a boat and look up at the high, steep cliffs all around you with the stream winding through. The Duobi (“Hideaway”) Ravine is another natural attraction. The ravine is lined by towering cliffs on both sides for almost the full length of its 18 kilometers, a breathtaking sight. The air here is clean and the water clear. Forest covers much of the land, creating a natural oxygen bar that is a good place to relax and recharge.
