The Heilongjiang Provincial Museum is located next to Hongbo Square in Harbin City. The building is a classical Russian-style building built in 1906. It is very conspicuous. Although the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum is not large, the variety of exhibits is very rich. You can see dinosaur fossils, animal specimens, and ancient pottery jars, silver jade ornaments, weapons, paintings and calligraphy, etc. unearthed in Heilongjiang Province. There are also temporary exhibitions that are frequently updated, including celebrity calligraphy and crafts exhibitions, local cultural relics exhibitions, etc.
