The Ancient Town of Xuanzhou is located on the banks of the Xiangjiang River. Since ancient times, merchants gathered here, which added to the thousand-year old town a charm. With a long history, the town still retains the ancient tombs, ancient battlefields, and ancient buildings. Among them, there is the Hengshan ancient kiln site from thousands of years ago, three shrines built by Qianlong emperor when he traveled to the south of the Yangtze River, and so on. Liu Jingong Temple, well preserved, still bears the Ming and Qing architectural styles.
