Mojingtai

Mojingtai is the ancestor of Buddhism and Zen Buddhism. It is famous for the story of the famous monk of the Tang Dynasty, Huairang, the seventh ancestor of Nanchan, and the Jiangxi monk Mazu Daoyi. There is Mazuan on the mirror-grinding platform, a Caoan created by Daoyi in Nanyue Hengshan. There is the Pagoda of Seven Ancestors behind the mirror grinding platform, which is the tomb of Huairang. Behind the tower is the old road up the mountain, and the roadside stele is inscribed "Huai Yilu", and there are 206-level stone steps. Nearby are the relics of Longshu Bridge, Guanyin Bridge, Magu Bridge, swimming pool and so on. Looking far away from the Dengmo Mirror Terrace, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Nanyue District. The ancient pine trees next to the stage and the deep valley in front of the stage make you relax here in midsummer.

Huai Rang, the seventh ancestor of Southern Zen of China, used the act of grinding bricks as a mirror to realize the name of Jiangxi Mazu Daoyi. At present, the stone carvings of "Zuyuan" are preserved in the scenic area, which is the place where Huairang grinds the mirror. The tomb of Huairang still exists. Mojingtai is a gathering of humanities. During the Anti-Japanese War, Zhou Enlai and Ye Jianying held training courses for Nanyue guerrilla cadres here, and Chiang Kai-shek also held the highest military meeting here seven times.
