Quite interesting long mural around the Hiroshima prison. It is 5-600 feet long and depicts traditional scenes and elements of Japanese culture. We visited it as a detour after visiting the castle.

It's a masterpiece.

There was a picture on the large outer wall of the detention center. The procession of the Edo period, the festival of the people, or the appearance of the carp swimming are vividly drawn and a little comical.

It's like a castle town, Hiroshima, but it's a mural painting!

I was surprised to see the murals drawn on the wall of the detention center. It was produced in 1989 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the construction of Hiroshima Castle. It is said that it is a work by the painter Tadayoshi Irino, a castle town on the north and east sides.

It was introduced on the map I got at the tourist information center, so I visited it. Mural paintings on the walls of inorganic detention centers are a good idea.
