Kaohsiung has a very special beautiful island MRT station. The Dome of Light was created by an Italian art master and took 4 years to complete with over 4,000 pieces of stained glass. The Miyajima MRT Station is known as the second-best subway station in the world.  There are light shows in each of the three working days and four light shows on the weekend. From the ground, the design of the MRT station is also quite unique, a bit like the pyramid of the Louvre in Paris designed by Pei's. Whether it is the daylight or the night lights, it is dazzling.
