Its all about the gooseWalked in with no reservation and easily got a table for 5 of us. Food was all very good, fresh, tasty. The goose, however, was outstanding, especially when dipped in the yummy little fruity sauce which accompanied it. Go get goosed!
This is a must try for roast gooseWe recently went on a food trip with a brother who is a Su chef in New York . One has to make reservations as this restaurant gets full. The roast goose and jellyfish was excellent. This is a must try !
Delicous, but seems over pricedMy third visit to this restaurant. Yung Kee seems to be the number one Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Just like Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) in Taiwan, and Quanjude (全聚德) in Beijing. There were so many customers, and all of the seats were crowded. The famous roast goose was excellent. Other dishes were also delicious, but not as good as expected. For example, roast pork and barbecue pork tasted average. Overall, it seems to be overpriced for the food and service they provide.
Good Local Food in Bustling AtmosphereYung Kee in Central is still delivering great food quality and a wonderful Hong Kong eating experience. Goose is the speciality here and the various pork dishes along with the fish dishes are all excellent. If you are unsure what to order the servers can recommend a set of dishes based on the size of your party. We have been going there for many years and they are still providing a great Hong Kong culinary experience
Good location and good foodYung Kee restaurant in Central area in Hong Kong island is a good restaurant. We didnt find a table for 4 on the ground level so we were taken to the top floor. It was interesting. The place was very busy but the food came in time. We had the famous roast goose there. The prices are on the higher side. Staff was very friendly. Overall, good food, good location.

在中环逛完街,拿着一大堆东西想找地方休息一下喝个下午茶,走着走着就到了镛记门口,门口的金色招牌很有气势很养眼,服务员也满脸笑容招呼我们进去,就这了。我们来的正是时候,因为点心两点刚开始供应。先点了醒胃前菜皮蛋酸姜,里面是溏心的,入口即融,瞬间就爱上了。这里的招牌是烧鹅,又想吃乳猪,就点了双拼,烧鹅上桌时还会浇上烧鹅汁,肉嫩还充满炭香味,服务员建议我们可蘸上自家制的酸梅酱,开胃醒腻,乳猪皮则香脆松化。还有干炒牛河,手打鲜肉丸粥和云吞面,干炒牛河,味道都刚好,材料还算挺丰富。手打肉丸特别弹牙,粥底很绵。云吞面分量有点少,不过云吞又大颗又好吃。凤爪比大陆酒楼的好吃多了,味道一流,肉也不霉,至少不像是冰鲜的。蛋散炸得酥脆,淋上芝麻和蜂蜜,甜而不腻,赞!
去香港出差,朋友推荐来镛记,还提前预定了清汤牛爽腩,说不吃会后悔。之前来已经吃过烧鹅,所以这次点了脆皮烧腩,果然没让我失望啊,皮脆肉嫩,还不腻。清汤牛爽腩真的很好吃,很爽口很入味,汤味很好,难怪要预定才有!点心我们叫了咖喱金钱肚和炸芋角,广式点心就是不一样,金钱肚有嚼劲,咖喱味很浓,炸芋角很酥脆,芋泥很香很滑也很好吃。我们还点了油泡鲜斑球,也不错,鱼肉很鲜甜。主食点了星洲炒米,料很多份量也很大,色香味俱全。
事先登陆了镛记的官网,看到了有双人套餐的菜单,才敢来其镛记。不然的话两个人真的不知道该怎么点餐,必吃的烧鹅一定是要点的,另外再点一份菜,估计两个人就会吃撑了,但是又显得单调。有套餐是很好的方式,550蚊每位,按人头记的,所以有三五位朋友都可以点这样的套餐。套餐包括了烧鹅、清炖北菇汤、瑶柱扒双蔬、桂林炸虾丸、扬州炒饭、芒果布丁,对于两个人来讲,分量刚刚好,而且又可以吃得很丰盛。如果人数少的话,非常推荐套餐的形式。
超大的金色招牌极其惹眼,那么多人说酸姜皮蛋好吃让我很怀疑人生,你们平常吃的皮蛋不是这个味道?而且不加调味料干啃皮蛋我也觉得蛮奇特的,酸姜倒是腌制的非常好吃,甜酸度刚刚好。蛇羹比平常餐厅贵那么多,没什么特别偏咸。烧味是真的好,驰名的烧鹅皮脆肉嫩,就是很油腻。叉烧肥瘦刚好,不柴不腻,反而觉得更胜过烧鹅。
