Walking around Tsim Sha Tsui East is like a journey back to the 1980s. The buildings, relatively small in Hong Kong standard, do not change much in the past decades. The Christmas decoration, although...
We caught the ferry here from Central Hong Kong, it’s a nice buzzing area with many shops but really the reason we went here was to watch the lights come on from the pier. It’s really impressive as yo...
Great part of town to view the skyscrapers at night. High end shopping and old hotels like the Peninsula. Also Oh to the art museum and science Museum.
Even though we had been to Hong Kong, we hadn't really been to this part of the city. We had only gotten as far as the clock tower but hadn't gone east of that. This time, our hotel, The Shagri-La w...
East Tsim Sha Tsui is an area east of Chatham Road South reclaimed from Hung Hom Bay in the 1970s. Many restaurants, office buildings, and hotels are located in the area. The Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade links the area with the Hong Kong Cultural Centre near the Clock Tower. Hong Kong's West Rail Line stops here and there is an extensive underground transit station connecting East Tsim Sha Tsui station to Tsim Sha Tsui. As a result the area is heavily populated due to the number of transit users passing through. It is a good place to wander around if you're overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle in Tsim Sha Tsui.
beautiful and quiet area. perfect for a jog by the promenade
Busy urban pace. Lot of high end shops. Metros and people. Busy busy busy. Enjoyed the views
Major tourist hub in Hong Kong, great place for a stroll or if you want to go shopping. Extremely busy and crowded though. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops. If you want to stay in the city center but don’t want to book a room in expensive hotel, you can choose from various unpretentious hostels. Easy way to get around is using the MTR. Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower and Avenue of stars are not only nearby but are also must-see landmarks.
Very convenient with affordable shops and fast foods like mcdo, kfc and 7 eleven. Bes location for klook buyers near holiday inn pick up point to ocean park. Walking distance to symphony of lights, clock tower etc.
A busy commercial are in Kowloon. So many hotels, dining places and, most of all, shopping in this area. Very touristy and always busy. There are crowds everywhere.
