Mount Hua(Huashan), one of China's five sacred mountains is located in Western China, in the territory of Huayin City, 120km away from Xi An. The mountain has five main peaks —a North, South, East, West, and Center. It has a Plank Walk located at South Peak that is considered by many to be one of the most dangerous hikes in the world. Hikers who challenge it will have to traverse paths made up of narrow planks of wood bolted to the side of a cliff, 2000 feet in the air. Even though there are harnesses attached to all hikers challenging the path, the experience is still one of the most thrilling on earth! Besides that, the mountain is also famous for its narrow pathways and steep stairways. If you are someone that is looking for a challenging hike, Huashan is definitely one of the toughest available out there. Just make sure that safety is your utmost priority. Watch your steps and stay alert during the hike!

Taoist Temple
Xiyue Temple, also known as Huayue Temple, is consecrated to emperors of the past and sacrificed to the Xiyue emperor Shao Hao, having been rebuilt multiple times throughout the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. The main buildings of Xiyue Temple are distributed on the central axis in a north-south alignment. The outer city is a Ming Dynasty building with a turret. The mountain gate is a grand, imposing city wall of brick and stone. Because there are three doorways, commonly known as the Sanlian Gate, its shape and structure is very similar to Beijing's Tiananmen. Within the grand hall there are original large wooden pillars that remain from the time of its initial construction. Suspended here are three horizontal inscribed plaques, proposed by Emperor Tongzhi, Emperor Guangxu and Empress Dowager Cixi.

Extreme Sport
Winding its way across the eastern mountainside of the south peak of Mount Huashan, Changkong Plank Trail was built using wooden planks supported by stone piles driven into the side of a perilous cliff. Walking along the Trail, you will get to experience the thrill and excitement of ascending mid-air across a precipice. The Trail is divided into three parts. While there are railings along the upper trail, in the middle part iron bars protruding from amidst the side of cliff rocks form something akin to a ladder hanging in the air; and when groping one's way through the lower trail, you will need to move sideways and edge forward on the wooden plank while clinging closely to the cliff wall and clasping the iron chain.
