Walking along the Seawall in Stanley Park, you will see a Nine O'clock Gun, which will ring loudly every night at 9 o'clock, but is now an electronic ignition method. The gun was cast in England in 1816 and shipped to Stanley Park in 1894, originally used to warn fishermen against fishing at 6:00 on Sunday. Later, it was time to report to the public.
