I found my visit to Stanley Park in early October to be an enchanting experience. Weary from our 17 hour long flight to Vancouver, I really need a good walk to stretch and shake off my sore muscles. In Vancouver, there is definitely no better place to do that than Stanley Park. Walking along the Vancouver Seawall, the crisp sea breeze and the stunning waterfront views was definitely a big contrast from the stuffy airplane air and small personal entertainment screen. It felt so liberating to be at such a beautiful place. Walking along, we reached the totem poles which provided us with a glimpse into indigenous (First Nations) culture and art. As I continued strolling amidst the vibrant hues of autumn leaves, I felt truly immersed in nature's beauty. How I wish Singapore had 4 seasons! My final verdict: Stanley Park truly captivated us with its combination of natural splendor and cultural heritage. Went on a date with my boyfriend in Vancouver and had a lovely time strolling around Stanley Park. The park offers hiking trails and beautiful views of Vancouver Harbour. We also visited Vancouver Aquarium and the Totem Poles. We then drove around the perimeter of the park, but be warned that there are horse-drawn carriages that tend to slow down traffic.
