Yellow Crane Tower Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I flew to Wuhan specifically for this photo!!
【📷 A trip to Wuhan, the story of 18 photos】
My purpose of flying to Wuhan was just for those 18 photos. The beautiful scenery of this city is so attractive that I embarked on a special forces-like journey, shuttling through the streets and alleys of Wuhan, and finally got the 18 photos I liked. When I posted them on my circle of friends, local friends were amazed and said they had never seen such beautiful scenery.
Now, I share my journey with you, so that you can also glimpse the style of Wuhan.
✅Day one:
👉I'm in the same frame with the Yellow Crane Tower and the Greenland Center
👉Yellow Crane Tower and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame
👉Yellow Crane Tower and Wuhan Corporate World in the same frame
👉Colorful Zheng Lane
👉No. 37 Desheng Bridge
✅Day two:
👉Lonely tree
👉Vine tree leads flowers
👉Photographing trains from the Changjiang Bridge sentry box
👉Butterfly Spring
👉Yangsigang Bridge
👉Meixunlimen Night Market
✅Day three:
👉Key Building Jianer Ground Subway Station
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge
👉Mecox Lane
👉Dragon King Temple
Among these photos, one is the Yingwuzhou Bridge in the misty rain, which I shot from an unfinished building. Another one is Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame, the camera position is near Hanyang Railway Station. Another one is the train and Yellow Crane Tower in the same frame, the position is at the sentry box of the Changjiang Bridge. I came out of the west gate of the Yellow Crane Tower and walked about 300 meters along the road, and I could see the wire fence.
Another one is the Yellow Crane Tower and the Greenland Center in the same frame, the camera position is near the Fuxing Road subway station. Another one is shot in the air above the Yangsigang Bridge, the scenery is magnificent. Another one is shot under the bridge, which has a different flavor.
I also took pictures of the vine tree leading flowers, the lonely tree, the white space, the Butterfly Spring and other beautiful sceneries. Each photo records my footprints and feelings in Wuhan.
This trip to Wuhan allowed me to appreciate the unique charm of this city. I treasure these 18 photos in my heart as eternal memories. And now, I share them with you, hoping that you can also feel the beauty and charm of Wuhan.
xavier_demetriusnightshade Magical area- Yellow Crane Tower 🗼🗼🗼

A day out in Wuhan
Upon climbing to the top of the Yellow Crane Tower, the whole of Wuhan reveals it's true beauty. Fill yourself up with enough hot dry noodles 热干面 and that should give you enough energy to explore the this historic site.
If you still have time for more, then head over to the East Lake and witness another beautiful site. If your legs are tired at this point, then hire one of the many bikes available around the park.
When evening comes, why not visit Jianghan Street for a taste of Europe in the heart of Wuhan. With many designer stores, coffee shops and restaurant, it's a perfect place to finish your trip.

The cherry blossoms in Wuhan will romantically bloom across the city in March, along with a cherry blossom viewing guide
Wuhan's spring is just too beautiful, with cherry blossoms blooming everywhere, whether it's by the roadside, at bus stations, in parks, or at universities, you can enjoy this romantic scenery. If you don't believe it, why not take a trip and experience it for yourself? I've put together the latest 2024 cherry blossom viewing guide for everyone, so be sure to save it! 👏
🌸 East Lake Cherry Garden (admission fee): The garden has over ten thousand cherry trees and is an excellent place to view cherry blossoms in Wuhan. Despite the constant flow of people, the beauty of the cherry garden is still captivating. Currently, only the early cherry blossoms are in bloom, and to see the whole garden in full bloom, you'll have to wait until around March 20th.
🌸 Wuhan University (free but reservation by phone 📱 required): Early cherry blossoms have bloomed near Luojia Villa and the entrance of Teaching Building 5, but they have started to wither, while the cherry blossoms near Cherry Blossom Castle have not yet bloomed, but the buds are already visible, expected to bloom around March 20th.
🌸 Xibeihu Square (free): There are about 500 cherry trees by the lake, where you can take photos of the romantic cherry blossom avenue, full of ambiance.
🌸 Xiyuan Park (free): There are several large cherry trees on the lakeside green lawn, suitable for picnics, and you can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms and the lake.
🌸 Turtle Mountain Park (free): The hillside is covered with pink cherry blossoms, and although the trees are slightly smaller, the blooming scene is equally charming. Here you can take photos of the cherry blossoms with the Turtle Mountain TV Tower 🗼 in the same frame, and from the top, you can see the Parrot Island Bridge, the Yangtze River Bridge, the Yellow Crane Tower, and other famous sights.
🌸 Qingchuan Pavilion (free): Located opposite Turtle Mountain, you can check in here as well. The cherry trees here blend perfectly with the surrounding environment, and the photo effect has a strong Japanese style.
Before taking photos, why not visit Grandpa Doesn't Make Tea, a flower-themed store, to buy this year's new cherry blossom 🌸 products, available in three flavors: Spring Return·Cherry Blossom, Spring Return·Cherry Snow, and Spring Return·Cherry Longan. I tried the Cherry Longan, and with each sip, you can taste the sweetness of the longan fruit, and the fragrant milk tea pairs perfectly with 'Fresh Flowers'. Hurry up and take a photo with the cherry blossoms - my heart, I just can't let go ❤
It's suggested that everyone plan to come to Wuhan to view the cherry blossoms around March 20th. Due to the impact of freezing rain, the blossoms this year are relatively late, so plan your time wisely, Wuhan definitely won't disappoint you!

the best place for sakura 🌸 hunting: WU
Widely regarded as the most beautiful university campus in China, Wuhan celebrating its 130th anniversary (1893-2023) this year opens up to visitors for the first time since pandemic controls and shutdowns. 🌸 so this year is extremely hard to get in the booking reservation system, but it's all worth it.
Its indeed one of the best places in China to enjoy the canopy of white and pink blossoms.. due to its location where the first planted cherry blossoms seeds from Japan. The more than 2,000 cherry trees are currently in full bloom on the university campus. Follow the crowds heading to the old. dormitory buildings in classical Chinese style where the romance fills the air from the arrays of sakura trees leading up the historic university library.. it's truly a sight to behold..
If the crowd is a little too much, why not take a rest and feast the eyes by sitting at the large field overlooking the magnificient university's administration building housing the president's office. It's also one of the must see spot within the university ground.
Last but not least, it's all depends on luck and days you choose to visit, again because it needs booking reservation to enter the university. Hope the blooming of cherry blossoms a.k.a the sakura 🌸continue bring you luck and this year's affinity for a better future..

Enshi Grand Canyon Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
we started from cable car down to up station and did 6k on the top of the ridge until escalators. followed by few kilometers bus ride from escalator down station to cable car down station back. then walked down the stairs to follow the green path on the bottom of the valley. all together 15 km GPS measured was gold. highly recommended for hiking lovers !
The Grand Canyon is approximately 2 hours by car from Enshi. The total trek is around 10 kilometres and takes around 4-5 hours. Do take the cable car as it covers a lo of grounds over a not very scenic part of the mountains. There are plenty of food stalls along the way for u to fuel up

Enshi five-day tour self-driving route recommended!
Enshi is located at the intersection of Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou provinces. It is cold in winter and cold in summer. It has abundant rainfall and abundant four seasons. The most famous one is Enshi Grand Canyon, but there are many small attractions. Shaojingmei, hurry to Mark
Itinerary recommendation:
D1 Arrival, live in Enshi Grand Canyon
D2 Enshi Grand Canyon Qixingzhai, Yunlong Ground, "Dragon Boat Tune" live performance
D3 Golden Cave, Tangya Toast City, Live Tree House
D4 Enshiping Dam Camp, Sidongxia
D5 Return
Transportation:
1 There are not many flights directly to Enshi. If there is no direct flight to Enshi in your city, you can consider going to Wuhan and then taking a train to Enshi.
2 After you get to Enshi, you can pick up your car and drive. Since there are many mountain roads, it is recommended to purchase the whole car insurance at the same time.
3 If you encounter thunderstorms in summer, you should pay attention to the road conditions in time, there may be mudslides or landslides leading to road closures.
:
1 Enshi Grand Canyon is divided into two main scenic spots: Yunlong and Qixingzhai. The upper seven-star village can take the cable car, and there are also hand-held elevators to go down the mountain. The entire scenic area is very large. There are no attractions in the two sections of the mountain and the downhill. It is recommended to take the cable car to save energy and time.
2 "Dragon Boat Tune" is a folk song of Lichuan. The real performance is based on the love story of a pair of Tujia boys and girls in the Tusi era, describing their touching stories of breaking away from feudal ties and pursuing free love. The scene is spectacular and you can better understand the local culture.
3Tangya Tusi City is a late Ming Dynasty ruins. If you just think of yourself as a hillside, it is recommended to find a explanation.
4 The number of tree house hotels in Lupingbaying is limited. It is often full in the peak season during the summer vacation. It is recommended to book in advance.
Hotel recommendation:
Enshi Grand Canyon Daughter Village Hotel. Very close to the Grand Canyon, the rooms are large in size, with balconies facing the mountain and elegantly furnished. The hotel has breakfast available and is cost effective.
pingbaying tree house. As if living in a Nordic cabin, the air in the virgin forest is exceptionally good. The detached chalet is quiet and romantic, but the facilities are not luxurious, but clean and comfortable.

Enshi, a Mysterious Land at the Magical Latitude of 30°N
The world is full of wonders and breathtaking landscapes near the magical latitude of 30°N, and when it crosses Hubei, it creates a fairyland called Enshi! Everyone has a different Enshi in their heart! For thrill-seekers, it's the Enshi Grand Canyon, known as the 'Oriental Colorado'; for foodies, it's the dream of Enshi's small potatoes🥔 and Tujia oil tea soup; for artistic souls, it's the experience of the ethnic minority's folk life... As the only ethnic minority autonomous prefecture in Hubei Province, Enshi is bordered by Jingchu to the east, Xiaoxiang to the south, Chongqing and Guizhou to the west, and Shennongjia to the north. Numerous mysterious and ancient legends originate from here. How to immerse yourself in Enshi, here's a guide:
♥️ Enshi Grand Canyon ——
Home to the 'World Geological Wonder and Oriental Colorado,' the Enshi Grand Canyon is the only place in the world where 'earth fissures - sinkholes - rock pillar groups' coexist as a complex karst landform. The five geological wonders of Qingjiang rising to white clouds, sheer cliffs surrounding peaks, sky bridges connecting caves, dark rivers joining waterfalls, and sinkholes paired with earth fissures are all breathtaking. Nowadays, it's easy to play in the Enshi Grand Canyon with the ground cable car and the canyon ropeway, especially the canyon ropeway, which is 2266 meters long with a vertical drop of 792 meters between the upper and lower stations, offering a bird's-eye view of the ten-thousand-meter cliff gallery, waterfalls, peaks, and deep gorges, saving time and effort for a trip with parents, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery.
♥️ Enshi Qingjiang ——
Qingjiang is the mother river of the Enshi people, and it is also the river that the 'sister' in one of the 'World Folk Songs,' 'Dragon Boat Tune,' wants to cross. It is not only full of stories but also has a high 'face value'! Overlooking it is like a blue ribbon, flowing clearly for eight hundred li. Qingjiang has three wonders (mountain road, Butterfly Cliff, Shuibuzhi), three gorges (Qianpu Gorge, Butterfly Gorge, Bawang Gorge), three resemblances (Jingyang Bridge, Reclining Buddha, Linjun Mountain), and three legends (Linjun Salt Pool Goddess story, Picking Up Son story, Duan Gong story); you can take a cruise on the Enshi Qingjiang, with both antique boats and large cruise ships available for choice. ⛵️Currently, the main boarding points are Hunshui River Wharf Visitor Center and Shuibuya Wharf Visitor Center.
♥️ Honghua Gorge Forest Peak Scenic Area ——
Located on the south bank of Qingjiang, it is one of the best observation points for Qingjiang's multi-level terraces. Taking the 'cross-river cableway,' you can look up at Hongyan Mouth and Honghua Stone Forest, overlook the Qingjiang River Valley, and also go ashore for a tour, immersing yourself in the beauty of Enshi.
♥️ Pingba Camp ——
With the largest primeval forest in western Hubei, this area is full of winding mountains, composed of elements such as ancient, strange, beautiful, quiet, and wild, creating a naturally pristine atmosphere. Taking Asia's largest V-shaped aerial cableway - Jigongshan Cableway, you can glide through the lush ancient forest, experiencing the feeling of 'sliding on treetops.' Another core scenic area of Pingba Camp - Sidong Gorge, is a very rare tunnel cluster landscape, which also contains the mysterious and ancient history and culture of the Tujia people, hence Sidong Gorge is also known as the 'Tujia Holy Land'.
🏠 Accommodation recommendation: Pingba Camp's special forest treehouse, the country's first forest-style all-wood villa hotel. Drawing on the principle of the Tujia stilted building, each villa is built in succession against the ancient trees, with the villas weaving above the ancient trees, living in the treetops, and enjoying the freshness after the rain in the empty mountains.
🍜 Food recommendation: Tujia oil tea soup, Zhangguanhezha, Tujia cured meat, Baiyang dried tofu, Shefan, Zhangguangjiao, Gexian rice, Fengtou ginger, Fubao mountain cress, and New Year meat.

💭✅Hey! Chen Buer wants to tell you:
‼️💫Pay attention, please!
🏤Accommodation in Wuhan: Wuhan breakfast is not only a culture but also a ritual, so choose a place to stay close to where you have breakfast, so you can catch the early morning light.
🥟Wuhan breakfast: The famous breakfast spots in Wuhan are already crowded with tourists, so choose places where locals go and are not crowded, such as Wansongyuan Cedar Road and Shuiliu Street!
🔖About reservations: The museums and art galleries in this itinerary require reservations to enter! They are in high demand, so it's best to book in advance and plan your time.
📷About photography: On the Yangtze River Bridge at Hankou River Beach, you can take photos of the train and the Yellow Crane Tower in the same frame; walking from the river beach park to the snack street, you can also capture the popular photo spot of the illuminated Yellow Crane Tower✨
Traveling to Wuhan with my girlfriend
Traveling in Wuhan in October
Picture one: The photos taken at the Gude Temple in Wuhan are very impressive, it's a great place for check-in and photography
Picture two: At the place where we stayed, there is a crab street next to it. The crabs are very cheap, but if your home is far away, don't mail them (the postage is expensive). They can steam them on the spot and give you dipping sauce, which is really fresh.
Picture three: We went under the Wuhan Bridge, where you can take a walk, but there are really a lot of mosquitoes in October. I was bitten a lot.
Picture four: My girlfriend
Picture five: There are many commercial complexes in Wuhan and they are indeed quite large. It is recommended to check in advance which complex to go to, otherwise you will have to run around.
Picture six: I remember these two restaurants seem to be quite famous (forgot ), but maybe it's my personal reason, after eating spicy crabs, I got acute gastroenteritis (which led to a hospital visit, due to time constraints, many places didn't go to wash regret, can only go again next time), lotus root soup is still very delicious!

I went to see Buddha
The temple was founded by Longxi in the third year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the QingDynasty. The temple covers an area of nearly 30000 square meters and the construction area is nearly 8000 square meters. The temple combines the characteristics of Eurasian religious architecture and
integrates the three major Buddhist schools of Mahayana Hinayana and Tibetan Tantric. It is known as"one of the wonders of a Buddhist resort and the first wonder of a Buddhist temple in the Han Dynasty.
The architectural style of Gude Temple is pretty unique . Most tourists go there to pray and pay their respects . Experiencing the Buddhist religion as well as seeing monks go about their daily life was worth it . I got to see a different aspect of religion
No need to buy tickets to enter and you can stay about half an hour to tour around .
