The Boğaziçi Köprüsü is one of three suspension bridges that span the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, connecting Europe and Asia. It is 1,560 meters long and 33 meters wide on deck. The distance between the towers is more than 1,000 meters, and the total height of the tower is 165 meters.
15 Temmuz Bridge. I personally love the night view of the bridge. In Ortaköy there are several points from which you can see it, both north and south of the bridge.
Loved the story - the bridge that connects the two continents Europe and Asia. It's busy for sure.
The Bosporus Bridge, the first cross-sea bridge across the Bosporus Strait, connects the two continents of Asia and Europe. We took a boat trip to Bosporus Gorge, and traveled under the bridge. It was not magical from a distance. At a close look, the huge bridge body was pulled by two thick steel cables. There was no pier support. The bridge was curved and swayed when the wind was strong. It was really spectacular.
Boazi & 1; I K & _6; PR & 2; S & 2; usually refers to the suspension bridge built in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1968. The bridge, also known as the Eurasian Bridge, was built in the narrowest part of the Bosporus Strait. It was officially opened to traffic in October 1973. It is the first sea-crossing bridge across the Bosporus Strait and connecting Asia and Europe. Super Night View. At sunset, the seagull silhouette forms a beautiful scenery.
