A Michelin two-star restaurant. This restaurant is at the entrance of Jianren Temple. The transportation is convenient and it is still quiet. It is said that the chef is from Junaijing. The craftsmanship is very good and the taste is excellent. It is a tall kaiseki cuisine that is very, very worth recommending to everyone.

Absolutely perfect meal in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is located in a quiet area of Gion and is easily missed as it has a quirky and inconspicuous entrance. We have a private room, but you can also sit on the counter where you can see the chef working. Every dish is beautifully presented and incredible.

1930年创立的老字号餐厅，环境超好，店里很安静。蛋液包裹着鸡肉块，对鸡蛋腥味敏感的我都觉得，这样吃一点都不难吃，色泽晶莹，卖相诱人。

非常接近主要旅游景点,但仍然一条偏僻的小路,在一条小巷里(非常漂亮的小巷)。可爱的小房子,简单但典型的邻居。大多是当地人,但他们仍然有英文菜单(不过只讲日本)。员工很友好而且有效率。我强烈建议尝试Oyako-Donburi(鸡蛋和鸡肉在米饭上),真的很美味,但也推荐荞麦面条汤是美味的。很简单的食物但是很好,适合小型午餐。如果你想尝试简单的当地食物在一个偏僻的地方这就是你要去的地方!

Very close to the main tourist attractions but still a remote path in an alley (very nice alley). Lovely little house, simple but typical neighbor. Mostly locals but they still have an English menu (just Japanese). The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend trying Oyako-Donburi( eggs and chicken on rice), really delicious, but also recommend buckwheat noodle soup is delicious. Simple food but good for small lunches. If you want to try simple local food in a remote place this is where you are going!
