When I left the north exit of the new station building and thought that there was a Western-style building on the left side, it was the former Karuizawa station building. It is recommended to look down from above as well as from the ground. The entrance and north-south passage of the new station building are the height equivalent to the 3rd floor. Therefore, if you go out the north exit of the new station building by the north-south passage instead of the ground, you can overlook the old station building. You can appreciate the roof and windows.
