The idea of volunteering is a bit crazy, and I expect that there will be difficulties waiting for me, but I still have no choice but to start. The volunteer location I chose is Pokhara, Nepal. I want to leave Kadu by bus alone until the local male host picks me up. Listening to the Indian English that I am not used to, a middle-aged man with a legless foot is taking me to a bus with a plug-in seat. The host family has two small buildings and a large garden with weeds. The room was stuffy, and there was a power outage from time to time, and there were occasional worms in the house. My volunteer content is to teach as a teaching assistant in a rural school. Children are divided into five grades by age. I was placed in the lower grades to deal with the mischievous bear children. Every lesson is very difficult, the children are enthusiasm, but they are enough to be noisy, and they are rarely able to listen quietly and deal with them. Occasionally, the children of the upper grades will be taught. The children will carefully copy the points I wrote on the blackboard, and will read the text neatly and ask questions to raise the rules. Once, the lively boy shouted out that I was going to teach them to learn Chinese, and the number of children who were attached was increasing... Life in just 12 days, feeling a lot. Although I volunteered to help the school, as time went by, I became more and more aware that what I could do compared to all that could be given to me was really insignificant. The students in the school may experience a dozen volunteers like me. Maybe they will forget me soon, but for me, this volunteer life will be my only one, and I will cherish it as if I am the one.
