The water is clear at hong islands so easy to snorkel straight from the beach. There are harmless large lizard type animals that roam the island , i got abit of fright the first time o saw it. great for kayaking because the water so clear you can see the fish around you while kayaking water was calm so had a easy ride. The lagoon on the middle of the island is pretty cool for taking photos
Hong is my favorite island in Krabi, together with her “sisters” Lao Ladin and Pakbia. The best way to enjoy Hong is to rent a private long tailed boat in Koh Kwang beach ( Klong Muang)go there early -from 7:30 onwards- and stay until the Marine park closes at around 16:30. you’ll have the beach all for yourself before 9:30 and after 3 pm. The beach is awesome and there is some snorkeling near the left side wall , at the end of the beach. the lagoon is amazing too.
Hong Island is one of the most beautiful island/beach in Krabi. A place where you need to stay for the whole day or at least half day doing nothing, just lazing. White sand beach, clear water, sunny place and wonderful view of rock formations. it’s more than enough to recharge your batteries. Thinking in go there? Pick up a boat at Krabi beach for 6 people max and enjoy the trip, it worth each second.
Had a wonderful trip and lots of love andfun with family.. loads of thanks to trip.com to made my trip happened.
This is a good beach. There are some bays, monkey islands, Latin islands, and other islands that we don't know about. But it's also very beautiful. One day we pack lunch for a group, even though it's full and tasty. But I don't care much. The most important thing is to see the scenery. We report that we really don't need to bring much clothes to visit the island. We report that all three groups wear swimsuits and go out for a day. It's OK to wear a blouse or a sandpants under your body. It's as easy as possible to luggage. Hongdao is suitable for a family of people, because it won't be too bumpy. Many people go to Hongdao are old and young. They are prepared to take seasickness medicine for fear of seasickness. There's no fresh water on Hongdao.
Hong Island is not so famous as PiPiPi, so there are not so many relatives. Moreover, Hong Island's several snorkeling dives are launched directly from the beach, not from the center of the offshore sea, but unexpectedly it has unexpectedly harvested coloured fish, species and quantity. Better than PiPiPi! There are many small tigers on Paradise Island, while there are many lizards on Hong Island. They need to go deep into the island before they can meet by chance.
It should be Hongdao. In early September, the weather was superb and there was no so-called rainy season. The beach is very delicate and white. There is no need for a camera to take pictures because it is so beautiful. The sea is sparkling and clear. We arrived by long-tail boat and needed 300 baht to go to the island. This price is absolutely overvalued. We went to 11 islands of different sizes in two days. This island is the most beautiful. Diving in shallow water is a great experience. Too beautiful to be absorbed all at once!
With old people, children and seasick wives, Hongdao is a good choice. The boat was packed on the beach for about 25 minutes. The boat was stable and no one was seasick. Dolphins were also seen at sea. Hongdao is very distinctive. After entering the entrance, it is a lake in the sea surrounded by cliffs and mangroves. On the other side of Hongdao is a snorkeling white beach. There is a person with 300 baht on Shangdao. The child has 100 feet. He has a pleasant trip by chartered boat for 3 hours.
Hong Island, very few people, the first gap between the embedded sea surface, the Chinese description is "a pool of Jasper heaven and earth", Yao Chi is just like that.Seeing this water surface can not help but jump down, asked the boatman how many meters deep the water is, boatman English is not good, had to find a wooden pole of his boat to explore the bottom, fortunately, did not dive, a meter deep is not enough, slowly stepped to the bottom. Waves rose in the water.
