In the middle of new city

It is strange that the lighthouse is not on the shore but in the middle of the new Grand-Bassam city. Nothing spectacular.

    Ivory Coast's crumbling history...

Sadly like much of Bassam's colonial architecture, the lighthouse has seen better days and has lost some of the masonry at the top of the tower. I small walk off one of the main routes, there is the w...

Did you repaint the outer wall?

    Original Text

It's easy to find because your head pops out in the city with only one-story buildings. When I went there, the situation was different from the photo I saw on NET. Apparently the outer wall has been repainted. I haven't seen any other well-maintained buildings in the historic city of World Heritage Sites, so it's good to preserve them, but the colors are amazing. Isn't it better to look like it used to be? It is also a scenery of kappa that went up to the land from the position (although the lighthouse does not move).
