The Magical Forest of Kyoto
Arashiyama Forest- This is one of the most popular place to visit when traveling in Kyoto. And after being there, I can totally understand why this forest is so popular!
An incredible sight of thousands of bamboo trees growing in this area, while taking a slow stroll along the pavement. It is a really easy walk which can be done by everyone.
For those who wish to take good photos of this place, I will encourage you to come really early because it can get super crowded, which means all of your photos will include the hundreds of visitors(like mine :D).
If you are looking for a even better experience, you can consider renting a kimono which will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Japanese culture and bringing back the best memories along with your photos.
Traveling here is really easy with public transport and the admission to the main park is free of charge.
Highly recommended place to visit! #nationalpark #unforgettableexperiences #scenicspotguide #momentssg
This place is incredible. The beautiful colours of the forest lighting up when the sun rises is something that is worth seeing. Unfortunately this is an Instagram influencer and tourist hotspot so if you want a classic photo of you standing in the middle of the forest without anyone standing there you need to get there EARLY! Otherwise good luck There is also an epic hike to the mountain behind the forest that no one really goes to giving you an epic view of the town below.
popular place when you visited Tokyo. mostly of the time crowded with people. well connected with the train station. nice walk along the way with beautiful scenery.
Remember 2019.11 Kansai late autumn trip~ The wild bamboo forest of Lushan, to be honest, is a bit disappointing. I imagined a large magnificent and lush bamboo forest, wide and thousands of miles, in it, I can feel my own smallness in an instant. Close your eyes and stare, a breeze blows, and your ears are shrieking. The reality is... The bamboo forest is surrounded in several areas, not very dense, some sparse, even a bit messy, I feel that the bamboo forest of Gaotai Temple has a sense of beauty. Anyway, I also passed by on the way to the attractions, and I didn't delay time. Just enjoy it.
Kyoto is located in the southwest of Honshu Island, Japan's largest island, with a subtropical monsoon humid climate, which is suitable for bamboo growth. There is such a tall and dense bamboo forest in the mountains and fields of Kyoto's most beautiful scenic spot. It was early autumn, the temperature was slightly higher, the bamboo leaves in the bamboo forest, the cool breeze, and it was very comfortable to walk in the bamboo forest. There is a shrine next to the bamboo forest, and people line up to pray for the academic progress of their middle school children (Figure 4). I heard that this place used to be the film "Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger", and some tourists came here in ancient costumes (Figure 2), which is quite a sense of character! 😄
Beautiful and picturesque bamboo grove near Kyoto. Lots of ladies dress up in kimonos to take pictures here. Many small shrines and temples around too.
