Konkai Kōmyō-ji Temple

Kimjie Guangming Temple was founded in 1175. The temple was built on a small hill and the magnificent mountain gates are impressive. It is a famous local maple place. Every autumn, the trees on the side of the road of Guangming Temple are dyed bright red, and the sun shines on the maple leaves, like a maple leaf tunnel, attracting tourists from home and abroad to watch. The best time to see the maple is usually mid-November to late November every year, when you can enjoy the maple tunnel of the road, but also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the red leaves all over the mountains.

This temple is not the "most" popular temple in Kyoto, it is a pity. The temple is very good, however the vast majority of tourists will not go, so once you can walk around without being caught in the tour bus tour group, you must come and see.
