Pontocho, a quaint old Kyoto street parallel to the Kamogawa River
Pontocho, located between Sanjo and Shijo, is a north-south slate alley. It is one of the old flower streets in Kyoto, with hotels, tea houses and restaurants on the roadside. From time to time, geisha is seen. The alley has a strong Japanese style and the floor is very clean. Even if it is a diet, it will not stain the surrounding environment. The shop decoration in the alley is a big love, especially my pseudo-text. Picking a restaurant and drinking a small wine at night is very comfortable.
Ponto cho is a Hanamachi district in Kyoto. Ponto cho is known for geiko and maiko and home to many geiko houses and traditional tea houses. Ponto cho, like Gion is famous for the preservation of forms of traditional architecture and entertainment.
