Located in Shinkyogoku, Nakagyo District, Kyoto City, Japan. The head of the Japanese Jodo Sect, Nishiyama Fukusa School. Originally founded in Nara, it was later moved to Fukakusa, Kyoto, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi built it on the spot. Originally belonged to the Three Schools, but the twenty-first Tibetan Junhuan was in accordance with the law, so it was changed to the Pure Land School.
