Read as (Shojo Kein). It is also one of the four main mountains in Kyoto, one of the eight head temples of the Jodo sect. First of all, it is a regular visit, and the admission fee is free. You can enter from the three gates, but there is also the Teshimon on your left. When you enter the three gates, you will find Mikagedo (Daiden) on your left, Ohojo on the right front, and Kohojo and Amidado on your right.
Read as (Shojo Kein). It is one of the eight head temples of the Jodo sect and one of the four head temples of Kyoto. It also means "a place where you can practice purely like a lotus flower blooming in the Jodo."
When I worshiped on New Year's Eve, I was ready to accept the first visitor everywhere in the large precincts. Also, the main hall seems to be open from normal times, so you can see the inside of the hall. By the way, there was also a stone monument in the precincts indicating "Shorinin Historic Site / Matsudaira Yoho Public Boarding Place".
On the way to Lushan Temple, I noticed the jobon-style smoke and entered the precincts. The smoke rose so much that the appearance of people was hazy. I can't stop walking around the city because of such discoveries.
One of the head temples of the Jodo sect between the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kawaramachi-dori. It's a very prestigious temple, but not many tourists come. It is Kyoto that such temples are on every street corner. There was also a bone tower of honen shonin in the precinct.
