Another name of this temple is the Baban Pagoda. Because it is the oldest tower building in Kyoto, it is more famous. This is clearly only five boards, why is it called eight boards? Baidu once said that the temple was built by a local rich man of eight boards, so it was named eight boards temple. I just passed by here and took two pictures at random. When I saw everybody taking pictures here, I thought it should be a scenic spot. I came back to find out that there was such a story. Because it's next to Qingshui Temple, there are more tourists here. They all come by to see it.
You can see it on the way to Qingshui Temple from the bus stop. As long as you see the Babanta Pagoda, you can walk in that direction to Qingshui Temple. I didn't know the name at that time. When I came back to look up the map, I knew it was a five-fold tower. It was very beautiful in the sunset. The cherry blossom season should be more beautiful.
This eight-storey pagoda is still good. We find that it is also between Qingshui Temple and Qingshui Ban's path. We immediately feel the architectural beauty of the Chinese cultural circle and the heavy historical precipitation. Unlike the nine-storey Pagoda in China, it is like a five-storey pagoda, and it is quadrangular, with Japanese characteristics. Looking at these ancient Tang styles, it is like drinking very mellow Tang wine. Same. Learning architecture must come to Kyoto.
The point of view of Faguan Temple is not only the landmark five-fold pagoda, but also the flagstone path leading to Faguan Temple, where there are more gorgeous kimonos. Together with kimono rental shops around, dance fans hall, dragon cat Republic and other small shops, Dongying flavor is very strong.
The ancient pagoda is the landmark building of the Qingshui Temple, which stands high and low. The ancient capital of thousands of years, Kyoto, can be called the city of temples. It spreads all over the old city, almost every step of a temple. Qingshui Temple is situated at the top of the mountain and is above the temples. The temple is also the most famous place for cherry appreciation in Kyoto. It is very different from the rest of the world. It is very busy. There is no quiet "clear water" as I imagined.
Babanta is also one of the landmarks of Dongshan in Kyoto. We saw this picture of Babanta in the hotel brochure. We said we would punch a card for Buddhist tourism. Babanta was here in two years and three years, close to Starbucks in Tatami. The pagoda itself has a general appearance, but it is very tasty when it merges with the red leaves and Japanese streets around it. Every time a kimono girl paper passes by, it feels very artistic.
When we visited Bangkok for three years and Bangkok for two years, we saw the Babanta Tower far away. We took pictures in the distance, cooperated with the sky, and there were many buildings around, which seemed to be more colorful. It was more beautiful than taking pictures in the near place. We still had to go in and have a look.
