Mount Gu

There are many strange peaks and rocks in Gushan, forming scenic spots such as Shizhangren, Stone Turtle Begging for Rain, Hanxin Natural Stone Statue, and Hanxin Point Jiangtai. The vegetation coverage rate is over 85%. Every spring and summer, wildflowers are in full bloom, colorful and fragrant, which is intoxicating; in the late autumn and early winter, the fiery red maple leaves, golden oak trees and green pines and cypresses complement each other, which is very attractive. Standing on the top of the peak, you can see far and wide, with a radius of 100 miles and a panoramic view. Small reservoirs and ponds are dotted at the foot of the mountain, like pearls inlaid among the fertile mountains and fields, the green hills in the southeast are vast and green; the northern plains are endless, and the smoke from the nearby villages curls. Looking at the sky in the distance, Laizhou Bay is sparkling, and fishing boats are like weaving. Hao Datong, the founder of the Huashan School, a famous Taoist in the Yuan Dynasty, admired the spirit of Mount Gu, the first Taoism in Mount Gu, and the Zixia Palace on the top of the mountain was an important base of Taoism. The main attractions are cliff stone carvings, Zixia Palace, Nantianmen, Laomu Temple, Shenxian Cave, patio, Taoist pagoda, sword test stone, a stroke of "phoenix", Danxia wall, Hanxin Academy, holy water spring, etc.
