I honestly cried when i saw this bridge i couldn't hold it in when i saw the structual integrity of it we fly to this bridge once a week with the famalam to experience to true art here.
If you visit Derwentwater, you simply must visit Ashness Bridge:) We walked up from the lakeside in about 15 minutes and when you get there it is a really beautiful spot!

Simply beautiful
Even the walk in the rain to reach this beautiful spot was great. Very quiet and within a few steps there were different views to be had.
