Conquering the Big Bee Hive 🐝
Climbing the Big Beehive in Banff National Park was a journey of awe-inspiring vistas and personal triumph.
The trail winded through dense forests, before finally opening up at the last hurdle where we were faced with a huge switchback. Trudging up slowly, step by step, my anticipation grew.
Finally reaching the summit, I was greeted by a breathtaking panorama of Lake Louise and the famous Fairmont Château Lake Louise, nestled among towering mountains. The sense of accomplishment was overwhelming as I took in the beauty of the landscape stretching out before me.
Sitting atop Big Beehive, I felt a profound connection to nature and a deep appreciation for the splendor of Banff National Park. It's a hike that challenges both body and mind but rewards with unmatched natural beauty.

I'm eager to explore Hong Kong's dynamic fusion of cultures and modernity, from its bustling malls and towering skyscrapers to its vibrant markets and delectable cuisine. International Financial Center, Ladies Market, Honolulu Cafe, I’m coming for ya!
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise offers many spectacular restaurant options, but our favourite is the afternoon tea.
Each afternoon tea seating comprises of a number of delicious sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and an entire buffet of desserts. We were obsessed with the macaroons. The best part is that you get to enjoy the afternoon tea away from the crowds with incredible views of Lake Louise outside!

Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
Lake Louise in Banff, Canada, is an absolutely breathtaking and stunning destination. During my visit in October, the beauty of the place left me speechless. What first struck me was the enchanting turquoise color of the lake enhanced by the morning sun. The early hours' tranquility created a serene atmosphere, making it the perfect time to experience the beauty of the lake.
As the day progressed, the changing hues of the lake under the bright sunlight were a sight to behold. The turquoise waters surrounded by mountains and forests created an almost surreal, picturesque landscape. The morning's calm gave way to the gentle sounds of nature, adding to the overall charm of the place.
Beyond the breathtaking lake, Lake Louise offers a variety of activities such as hiking, canoeing, and exploring the nearby Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, a splendid hotel that complements the natural beauty of the area. The hiking trails around the lake are perfect for nature lovers and provide opportunities to immerse oneself in the captivating scenery.
In summary, Lake Louise in Banff, Canada, is a must-visit location. The beautiful turquoise lake, the peaceful surroundings, and the ever-changing beauty of the landscape leave a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to experience it. I highly recommend visiting this natural wonder, as it is truly a place where one can be left breathless.

Moraine Lake Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Moraine Lake is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world. Blue-green water that looks like it couldn’t be real and snow capped peaks.
The Moraine Lake area also has several amazing hikes that all begin at its shores. Consolation Lakes, Mount Temple and Larch Valley are just a few of the options available. Don’t forget you can also canoe here as well!

These were all taken over a morning at Moraine. We got there to see the stars at night. Then it got super cloudy as blue hour stared, before clearing a little bit for golden hour. Can you spot the rainbow? #awesomepic
By far, the prettiest lake I've been to is Moraine Lake out in Banff. Because the lakes in Banff are such a tourist attraction, you truly need to time your visits so that you arrive around sunrise when the crowds are at a minimum and parking is available.
One of the activities that people enjoy doing while in Banff is kayaking on the lakes. The cost is around $100 for about an hour of kayaking on a beautiful blue glacial lake!
Banff is quite expensive to stay in. You can also look at nearby Canmore as a place to stay to save some money!

Have you ever seen water this blue? Moraine Lake is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots on Earth. What makes the lake this color? Silt, which comes from the glaciers! It's essentially "rock flour" that catches sunlight and makes the water appear brilliantly blue. Travel tip: This lake is only open for 5 months in the summer!

Lake Louise Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Lake Louise is probably the most popular tourist spot in Banff National Park, and for good reason! The Lake is famous for its milky green water and the stunning views of the Victoria Glacier behind.
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise lies along the shores (a great place to grab afternoon tea), and there are a number of incredible hikes that begin from the shoreline. Lake Louise also has TWO teahouses, which are worthy hikes in themselves!

Lake Louise, Banff - Canada: This stunning place is in Banff National Park. The turquoise water looks really great. The Canadian Rockies view is also awesome. You can enjoy canoeing in summer time and skating in winter time. 🛶🛶🛶
Lake Lake, Banff Park, Canada, must see Raiders!
For the little fairy who wants to go to Banff National Park in Canada, Lake Louise is definitely a treasure trove that you can't miss, and who knows who is going to "the sapphire of the Rocky Mountains".
The lake water in Lake Louise contains minerals under the glacier, and the clear blue-green color appears in the sun, and the color of the lake changes with the intensity of the light. From a close look, the lake is light green, and in the distance it is greenish. If you look up the lake, it looks like a crystal clear emerald inlaid in the magnificent mountain peaks and the spectacular Victoria Glacier.
For Lake Louise, the best tourist season is between June and October, and the most tourists in the park in July and August, this time is full of sunshine. The temperature is comfortable, the scenery is pleasant, and the road conditions are good. In June, September and October, the mountains will be a bit cold, but there will be fewer tourists and more fun.
Address:Improvement District No. 9
I am very afraid of wintering in Shanghai. It is particularly difficult to get wet, but Alberts winter is really cold even if its minus ten degrees. The Fairmont Hotel in Lake Louise is also so good! Sitting on a million-dollar landscape window, a window of ice and snow outside the window, like a dream

Driving in the Canadian Rockies! 🏔️
Driving in Banff is a beautiful experience with picturesque mountain views around every turn!
The park has designated pull-off areas, so drivers can stop and take in the breathtaking scenery without disrupting traffic. The mountains surrounding you, just simply amazing.
However, it's important to exercise caution and obey the speed limits as wildlife frequently cross the road. Road conditions can also change quickly, especially during winter, so it's best to check the weather forecast and road reports before setting off. It's also advisable to fill up the gas tank before heading out on a long drive as gas stations can be few and far between in the park. #banff
Winter Wonderland is REAL
If you want to experience an authentic, snowy winter, make sure you come to Banff National Park in the winter!
Banff national park in winter is literally a DREAM. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and skating are all fantastic. They offer amazing hiking trails. Make it to the viewpoint of the cascade mountains and Banff is all yours!! The lakes all become frozen so don’t expect blue water but still amazing! #banff #canada
Canada's most famous National Park
Banff is a must visit for anyone who's a nature lover Even if nature isn't you're thing, don't worry as Banff is still very accessible and you can still admire it.
Joining a tour is an option, especially if you go from Calgary. Further a day trip is also feasible but I would suggest spending a night or two to really feel the park and explore most of what it has to offer.
Banff is truly an amazing place as no landscape is the same after that moment, meaning even five minutes later, the same landscape would have changed. You'll find ice capped mountains, beautiful green forests, turquoise lakes and wildlife. You also might be greeted by the four seasons all in one day. Obviously the best time to visit is in summer when you can take advantage of the nice weather outdoors but other seasons have their own flavors as well. Therefore hop in a car and just drive around and get lost in this marvelous national park or Canada's backyard.
Overall, Banff has plenty to offer. You'll be greeted by lovely nature landscapes and memories that will awe you for the rest of your life.

Columbia Icefield Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Banff National Park in Canada
Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park and one of the world's first three national forest parks. Its history is comparable to that of Yellowstone National Park in the United States and Royal Park in Australia.
Banff National Park is located in the northern section of the Rocky Mountains, about 110-180 kilometers west of Calgary, Canada. The park covers an area of 6,641 square kilometers, with glaciers, hot springs, pine forests, and lakes scattered throughout.

🍛Food:
✔️The only Chinese restaurant in Banff Town: Silver Dragon Restaurant
⭐️Travel tips:
1⃣️You can hike and boat in summer, and ski in winter
2⃣️If you have enough time, you can visit Jasper and Yoho National Parks
3⃣️Be sure to spend 70 dollars to enjoy the afternoon tea at the Fairmont Hotel
4⃣️Be careful of bears when walking in the park
The road leading to the top of the mountain like a silver chain is more dazzling in the sun. We must first shuttle the bus to the middle of the mountain. The glacier looks very close, but it is still quite far away, and the shuttle bus has been sitting for 10 minutes. The special sightseeing cars are all tailor-made for the ice glaciers. The light wheels are almost as high as mine. A piece of snowflake can be changed, but the glaciers can carry such a huge car, and you can imagine how powerful the cohesive force is. On the glacier, you can also see traces of glacial retreat caused by climate warming.
Open here, the driver will return the time before getting off the bus. We will not take the car we went to because of the missed time. After communicating with the staff, we have to wait for the space on the back to let us sit. As a result, the glacier glass bridge of the next scenic spot "Skywalk" has not been completed. Fortunately, we are self-driving, and there are several people who are on the same car on time. After meeting with us, we will take us with our own car. Going to the sky trail, so I caught up in the last second before the attraction closed, sweating.
