Las Vegas Lake is a man-made lake. It is a favorite place for tourists to enjoy the upstream of the lake. There are luxury villas, resorts and restaurants. There are many cruise boats moored by the lake. It's very enjoyable to sit on the cruise boat and watch the beautiful lake.
European style village, built around a suburban lake. Home of celebrities Celine Dion, Elton John & others.
If you want to take a drive away from the Las Vegas Strip, this is certainly a worthy destination. There used to be a bustling community with shops, restaurants, bars, hotels, and a casino, but since the economy crashed, I am not quite sure what still remains open at this time.
This is the swanky area of Las Vegas where celebrities live on the lake. Celine Dion has a home here. This is where the Ritz-Carlton is. There used to be a Hyatt here but I believe it may have rebranded as a different hotel. Hard to say as it's been years since I've visited LLV. There is a European-inspired village with shops and restaurants. The community is quiet and quaint. It's a whole different world from what most people know as Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is a city built in the desert. There are no lakes in Las Vegas itself. So Las Vegas Lake is also a man-made lake. The construction of the lake has added inspiration to Las Vegas, a desert city. Many beautiful houses have been built around the lake, and it has become a scenic spot.
