About Leiyang: Leiyang City is located to the south of Hengyang City and is situated along the north side of the Wuling Mountains. Leiyang is the home county of Cai Lun who invented the first of China's four great inventions, papermaking. The county has over 2200 years of history and gets its name because it is situated along the north shore of the Lei River. Leiyang City has also been hailed as the home of camellia oil, also known as tea oil. Famous attractions include Cai Lun Zhuhai, Lei River National Wetland Park, Cai Lun Memorial Park, Cai Lun’s grave, and Du Fu's grave.
