This is a street restaurant in the old town of Lille, which has the taste of a difficult French restaurant. Sitting on the street drinking delicious French white wine, plus French cuisine and desserts here. There is really a romantic and casual feeling, and the truth is really French and very leisurely.

Having made a very last minute reservation for one, I arrived at the restaurant at 19:00 on Friday 28 July and was shown a table at the rear, from where you could see the chef at work.I was the first to arrive, but after some 30 minutes the restaurant, which is small and cosy, was already more than half full and when I had finished my main course, every table was taken..The food was delicious. As a starter I had  pieces of salmon fillet with spinach and spiced cream, nicely presented, and a coconut naan, both very tasty. My main was a vegetarian dish with aubergine, which, although it did not look as attractive as the starter, was also very good. It was served with basmati rice. For dessert I chose the &quot;th&eacute; gourmand&quot;, consisting of a cup of any tea from the menu, accompanied by four mini-desserts (for those who find it hard to choose).I cannot speak for any of the drinks on the menu: as it was a hot day, I ordered a large bottle of sparkling water to go with the food.I was very happy with my choice of restaurant and will certainly book a table at this place again, next time I visit Lille.One more thing: when I left, people were (still) waiting outside the restaurant to get a table. Always a good sign.

Loved this little restaurant in the heart of Lille. Warm ambience, delicious cuisine and delightful staff.

The food was excellent. Amazing flavours with exceptional presentation. The wait staff were very attentive. I will definitely return when next in Lille. Highly recommend.

A really enjoyable meal with fantastic service. Less spicy than we&rsquo;re used to from loving the UK, but really nice.

Restaurant doesn&rsquo;t look at all like it is pictured. No ambiance at all! It&rsquo;s a typical hotel like a Novatel restaurant. Not all what you want if you travel to France to experience the culture and excellent cuisine.

MEERT RESTAURANT是里尔老城中一家非常棒的法国餐厅，这里的烤鸡和甜品非常的好吃。自制的葡萄酒也非常的美味，一边品尝着美食一边欣赏着里尔城市的美景，那感觉仿佛融化进了这美景里，感觉很奇妙。

MEERT RESTAURANT is a great French restaurant in the old town of Lille, where the roast chicken and desserts are very delicious. The homemade wine is also very delicious. While tasting the food, you can enjoy the beauty of Lille city. It feels like it melts into this beauty, and it feels very wonderful.
