The Jardim da Praca do Imperio serves as the front for the famous site of Jerónimos Monastery rivals in the grandeur of its architectural counterpart. The garden is a masterpiece of landscaping with a beautifully blossoming fountain as its centerpiece, surrounded by immaculately trimmed trees, flower beds shaped by concrete walkways. The water ponds of lilies each accompanied by sculptures lines the bottom of the fountain. Quite a few duckies made their nests here.
