Liverpool Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Short Vacation to Liverpool 🇬🇧
It was the last trip of four of us in the UK. The first place is definitely Museum of Liverpool. We spent 2 hours to walk around the museum. The entry is free of charge but do remember that they are close on Monday📝
📍Museum of Liverpool
Pier Head, Mann Island, Liverpool L3 1DG, United Kingdom
We also visited The Wall Of Fame - Mathew Street. Which is my most favourite part of the trip. This is the place where you get to see different statue and it is a very nice and beautiful street with lots of history. The street is located around Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter and it is easily accessible⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would definitely recommend this place if this is your first time in Liverpool.
The Wall Of Fame - Mathew Street
📍 The Tourist Attraction Famous Celebrity Names On Wall Of Fame Outside Wall, Mathew St, Liverpool L2 6RG, United Kingdom
The last spot to recommend will be West Kirby. This is my favorite beach in Liverpool. You can get to the beach easily by walking around 5 minutes from James Street and take a 30 minutes train. The view was just stunning especially during the evening. We spent half of the day to hope around the beach and we also managed to get some good pictures 📸
📍West Kirby
We just love the quietness and stunning view of Liverpool. 🥰 This is gonna be my last post about 🇬🇧. But I am looking forward to explore other cities. Cheers 🍻

Liverpool Architecture
Location: Liverpool. Situated in Lancashire in the north west of England, United Kingdom.
Liverpool is one of the prettiest British cities and steeped with interesting history. The Beetles and football are huge here.
Walking along Albert Docks near the center of the city is a treat. You can see the famous Liver building and look at the reflections in the water.

A lot of museums to visit in Liverpool, UK
One day trip to Liverpool!
If you like visiting museums, Liverpool is one of the most perfect place to visit. There are various museums near the seaside. I went to the Merseyside Maritime Museum. There were museums of Slavery and ships such as Titanic.#liverpool
24Hrs in Liverpool 🇬🇧
I had about 24hrs in Liverpool and wanted to do some exploring before I caught a ferry the following morning to Belfast , I checked into my hotel opposite the Albert Dock and walked up the quayside to Pier head to take some pictures of the Royal Liver building and the Museum of Liverpool.
I had a few drinks in the city and went back to my hotel as I needed to be up very early to get to the ferry port in Birkenhead ….
I took some pics of the Beatles statue which can be a busy touristy picture taking spot !
( I went early morning and it was quiet )
There is a Fab Four gift shop and restaurant next to the Mersey ferry terminal which has regular departures taking 10mins to reach Woodside in Birkenhead across the river Mersey .
The website did say it was a commuter route and could be busy in the mornings but I was the only one on the boat and I could see my ferry in port .
I really enjoyed my trip to Liverpool and I managed to see a few sights in my brief stay .
I then left for Belfast aboard the Stena Edda …..🙋🏻♂️

Royal Albert Docks, Liverpool
The Royal Albert Docks originally opened in 1846 and served the north of England with boats shipping goods to various places. Situated in Liverpool city centre, it consists of modernised bars, restaurants and museums.
There is quite a lot to see and do there and admission into the area is free. Lots of the bars and restaurants have some great views of the dockyards and the river Mersey and there is information about how the dockyards have been transformed into the area that it is today. The attraction is free to enter and there is free wifi throughout.
I would recommend going to visit one of the museums whilst you are there as well as visiting one of the restaurants, such as the Pump House.

Liverpool's Stadium
Anfield is the home of Liverpool Football Club. Situated next to Stanley Park in the east part of the city.
Liverpool is in Lancashire, in the North West of England. Flights and trains go to this city from all over the UK and parts of Europe.
You can pre book tours at Anfield and walk around the stadium, up and down.
Tip: Pre book a match day ticket and enjoy a buzzing atmosphere at one of the best football stadiums in the world.

Memorable Anfield experience
I joined a travel group that includes return airfare, hotel accommodation and hospitality match tickets to go to Anfield stadium in Liverpool to watch the big game for LFC vs Man City on 10th March, 2024.
To touch the 'This Is Anfield' signboard is a dream come true and the feeling is really heartwarming.
The stadium tour was conducted in an orderly manner and it tells you a brief history of the football club, it's past and present players and managers and of course the trophy haul.
From the stands to the pitch, from the hallways that legends have walked before, to even the players canteen, you feel like going through a day in the life of a player.
I will love to come back again someday for sure.

TheTravelingSuitcase (@thetravelingsuitcasee) Liverpool Cathedral, also known as AnglicanCathedral. It is the largest church in the United Kingdom, also known as the Catherdral Church of Chris in Liverpool. It is also the fifth largest cathedral in the world, and its architectural style blends traditional Gothic and modern monumental styles. The design of the single tower was an innovation at the time. The tower was 101 meters high and built the world's third largest clock. The exterior is not very eye-catching, but the interior space is extremely high and ethereal. And you can enter for free and listen to the hymns of the choir.
It is worth mentioning that this magnificent and solemn religious building is from the hands of a 22-year-old youth. In 1902, the 22-year-old Giles Gilbert Scott selected the design competition at Liverpool Cathedral, which was a bit controversial, but Scott's mastery of Gothic style and professional family background (George Gilbert Scott Junior) Sir and grandfather Sir George Gilbert Scott are both very famous architects in British history. Sir Grandpa Scott designed London's St. Pancras Station. The Albert Memorial, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the chapel at St. John's College of Cambridge, the main building of the University of Glasgow, etc., and other British landmarks involved in the design are numerous. Let the project run aground. In 1904 King Edward laid the cornerstone and the church began construction. In 1924, the first part of the Church and the East Hall were completed. In 1941, the second stage tower was initially completed and put into use. In World War II, the church miraculously survived the death. However, due to the downturn in the national economy and the impact of the world war, it was not until 1978, after a full 76 years, the main part of the church was officially completed, and Elizabeth II attended the completion ceremony. Unfortunately, Scott died in 1960. He didn't wait until the day when his work was perfectly presented, but Scott not only left this beautiful church, but London's iconic red telephone booth was also from his hand.

Liverpool city break

Elif-Turkish Delights (UK)
Order a recommended set to have dinner with a group of friends. There were 10 of us, yet we were not even able to finish 70% of the meal.
The servings is really generous and the meat are carefully char-grilled almost to perfection.
If you're with someone with an appetite for such Turkish delicacies, do give it a try, but remember to order discreetly so as not to waste food.
Liverpool
Short trip to liverpool was nice, the architecture and city vibes is good, the station is really cool, but a bit dodgy at night.
Liverpool Beatles bus tour
Six of us took the Liverpool Beatles bus tour, which we'd highly recommend, on board guide was informative, funny and gave us a fabulous insight into the lives of the Beatles.
