Dined here in October. Lovely experience. We had the 6 course tasting menu. The tartare of cornish mackerel was absolutely delicious. The chocolate dessert was a bit too rich. Service really good. Looking forward to dining here again at some point.
Not far from Liverpool, the soup is a sign of the specialty, especially recommended tuna soup, vegetables are broken into mud, remove the residue with the cream soup, the last added tuna stew is more eye-catching.
Angler is a Michelin one-star restaurant on the top floor of the South Place Hotel, with artistic touches, floor-to-ceiling windows on the top floor with a great view, and the staff are very welcoming, each with a smile and a few specialties. All the seafood in the restaurant is served with fresh ingredients caught on the day, with the best seasonal vegetables and local specialties. Fresh and fat cod Cornish Pollock is recommended; pear almond sweet and sweet Loch Duart Salmon is recommended; desserts are served with blackberry ice cream.
