What travelers say:
Saw this online and thought was a fun unique way of having afternoon tea, so my friend and I thought we book it and have a go. Lovely hotel when we arrived, beautiful colours and deco of teapots on the shelves once inside. The sofa chairs were so comfy. We opt for the Science afternoon tea of course. And choose a fruit tea of orange and vanilla tone. Was lovely. When the Science afternoon tea arrived on our table it looked stunning! I can see chocolate dinosaurs, macaroons with a pump sticking out and also an experimental mini drink with straw. A little cake planet was so cute. The waiter poured water on the dry ice and smoked came out of it representing smoke from the volcano and dino dessert. Was very cool to watch Scones were delicious. So crispy outside and fluffy soft on the inside. And the savories of quice, mini beef Yorkshire, sausage roll and crayfish toast was all too good aswell, flavours were fab. They offered a free second helping of scones and savories plates. What a great afternoon tea. We were so full by the end of it. Deffo recommend the Afternoon tea here at the Ampersand hotel, The Drawing Rooms. 10 out of 10.
