We had a very good lunch here. We were warmly greeted on arrival and directed to the large chalkboard menu that had so many tasty options it was hard to decide. We ended up with a burger, a truffled grilled cheese sandwich, Thai cobb salad with a coconut curry dressing, and grilled salmon. We all tasted everything and it was all absolutely delicious. The salmon was quite small for the price, but everything else was generously sized and we couldn&#39;t finish it all. You order at the bar, and then someone brings it to your table. I totally disagree with the person who said it was like chain dining -- all the dishes were innovative and well prepared -- and the staff was very friendly to us.

Very good food at York, fun decor with brick walls and interesting mirrors over bar, which is in the center of the room. Quick food service, many good and interesting liquor choices. This is a local hangout -- lots of regulars friendly with the bartenders. Very hip. Not quite as friendly as they could be to non-locals.
