There are several roads leading to Hollywood signs, basically parking in the parking lot of Grifith Park. The parking lot is located at the foot of the hill and then climbs up the hill. From the parking lot to about 4 miles, it may be 5 to 6 kilometers, at least one and a half hours to climb. But half the way, you can pay to ride instead of walking. And the scenery along the way is very beautiful. You can see the whole Los Angeles and the park itself, including the mountains, rivers, canyons and so on. And many local people like to visit here. It's only 3 miles to the observatory.
Hollywood logo - this is a very familiar picture. Most of the people who come here want to take a picture with this huge and famous "HOLLYWOOD" to show their visit. But it takes a long time to get a group photo. It is not possible in Hollywood Studio. In order not to make everyone regret, the studio has made a background. It looks the same from afar. Most people take only this background picture.
You still have to take a picture with the Hollywood logo when you come to Los Angeles. Originally intended to go to Lake Hollywood Park (address: 3160 N. Canyon Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90027), the road was closed halfway. We can see the Hollywood sign clearly by parking in a closed area and walking a little further up. When I came back to write my strategy, I found that we didn't actually drive to Lake Hollywood Park. I don't know what wind our GPS pumped. However, we mistakenly bumped into the road closure of this place to see the Hollywood logo perspective is also very good. Our parking address is 3390 Deronda Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90068, coordinates 34 & #176; 07 48.5 N 118 & #176; 19 09.3 W. And we have trails in this place that can continue to climb up the hill to get a closer look at the back of the Hollywood logo, this time because of time, there is no further climb.
In the previous strategy, we could see from the Griffith Observatory that we had just arrived and lost our way. Later, we asked the local people about a one-day tour behind the Dolby Theatre. When we got there, we found that some of the trips were not very desirable. Later, we took a taxi to see "Hollywood". At last, we saw "Hollywood" from a close distance on the mountainside platform. We were so excited that we couldn't. There are not many people on the viewing platform, all of them drive to it by themselves. We took a few pictures and then went down the hill. After returning to the Dolby Theatre, I happened to find a scene of crying and laughing. We could see "Hollywood" clearly in the street where we were, but none of us looked back. Now think about it. Sometimes not all roads have to go straight. Sometimes when you turn back, you will have different scenery.
This park is the closest to the Hollywood logo. It's a small piece of lawn and people walk around it.
Hollywood logo is not allowed to be close to tourists. The best way to visit is to take pictures at the top of the hill. It's fun. But I heard that some people still secretly climb the logo. It's not only a symbol of Hollywood, but also a symbol of Los Angeles. It's especially eye-catching and very big. It's visible from afar.
The Hollywood logo can be seen from the Griffith Observatory. There are paid telescopes at Griffith Observatory for a few cents, but there are still many tourists willing to pay for the telescope. In fact, if you want to see the logo at close range, you'd better walk freely.
