All the museums were awe inspiring as they were all celebrating the heyday of history. I was interested in everything in Max Factor. The Batman / Catwoman exhibit was great. Too much enjoyed Elizabeth Taylor's wedding dress in "My Father in law". I'm not sure there are elevators but this staircase looks a bit dangerous While I'm 75 and can climb up and down on it. I enjoyed reading posters about the exhibits and noticed that the museum was closed for a few days this week.
This place is centrally located but not crowded. First it is at the beautiful Art Deco Max Factor building. Make sure to see the restrooms here and the design is fantastic. There is a great selection of old props including the Batmobile and $6 million worth of bionic male and female props. Old superheroes including Wonder Woman, lots of fun horrors in the basement. There was even a pair of Dorothy ruby slippers. We spent two hours here and had a great time!
Hollywood Wax Museum is located on the star-studded Walk of Fame. It is not only a wax museum, but also a cultural and art museum. There are more than 180 wax statues. Jackie Chan's wax statue is also among them. It is a major tourist attraction in Hollywood.
There are Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Hanks and many other star sculptures, worth visiting.
This place is interesting and very good value for money
