Coba Ruins

The site of Koba, hidden deep in the Yucatan Peninsula, is a Mayan civilization that is also ancient in the site of Bichichen Itza. The Koba site is the earliest Maya site to be found earlier than the famous ancient city of Chichen Itza, located on the famous Yucatan Peninsula. The main building here is the pyramid, but also the highest pyramid in the entire Mayan civilization. The time to climb the pyramid is very steep and long. The so-called uphill is easy to go down the mountain. It really takes a little courage to climb up and down.

Cobá (Spanish: Cobá) was originally called Co-Bah, meaning abundant water resources. Located deep in the rainforest, surrounded by five lagoons, Koba is the largest commercial city on the Yucatan Peninsula, with the center connected by radiant roads that stretch as far as the Caribbean Sea for more than 100 kilometers. It is estimated that there were about 50,000 or more residents in the peak period of Koba, when the building covered about 80 square kilometers. According to Mayan records in the 7th century, the main buildings of Koba were mostly built in the middle and late classical period in the 1st century, but new buildings have been built since then, and ancient buildings have been restored, which was maintained until the arrival of the Spaniards in the 14th century. Before. The current Koba site has only excavated one-tenth of the place. The distance between different buildings is far. There are some attractions with a fee for manpower tricycle ferry. Cobá is a Mayan urban site on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, not as famous as Chichen Itza ( Chichen Itza), but has the highest pyramid in the entire Yucatan Peninsula. The Koba site here has three complexes, the largest is called the Coba group (La Iglesia church pyramid site), and the Nohoch Mul complex is the highest pyramid area. 虽然墨西哥境内的玛雅遗址还是比较得多，但是Coba是Cancun区域唯一一个可以爬上去的金字塔。这个区域据说蛮大现在只开发了10[%]以内，可以在这里面慢慢的踩单车探险，附近也有度假村可以居住。爬上去大约是用了十分钟左右，但是下来的时间会比较长一点，上去之后会看见整整的都是热带雨林包围着。景色还是相当不错的，而且爬上去之后的喜悦感是在下面体会不到的。
